Lot's of repetitive & unnecessary fluff

I couldn't listen to the whole thing. I kept waiting for the good stuff, but there never was any. Skipped forward and still nothing but repetitive fluff. It's like reading a grade school paper in which the student kept saying the same thing 5 different ways just to fill up the word count.

Boundaries For Myself

The part that I enjoyed the most was setting boundaries for myself. I had never thought about how important setting self-made boundaries would be for my mental health. I highly recommend this book and loved Melissa reading it.

Good info but unnecessarily long

I think it’s a great book about what boundaries are and how to set them but there was no reason for it to be this long. It gets redundant after a while.

I loved this book for my own relationships and as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I recommend this to all of my clients. Highly recommend

Life-changing

I have only come to her recently realize how important it is to have boundaries, what boundaries actually are, and how to effectively use them. This book has helped so much to understand that and within the first week of reading it, I have made significant changes in my life and my relationships. I grew up in New York City Where there are no boundaries, in fact, boundaries often meant that you didn’t love a person. People know you love them and how much you let them walk all over your boundaries, that’s if you even had them. Usually by the time I realize I had a boundary that was crossed I would be at critical and go to red alert, and not give anyone a chance by expressing myself through a green , or a yellow warning. It’s also really important to have and practice boundaries for myself regarding how I sleep, eat, exercise, and take care of myself and well-being. Having boundaries is important for consciously bringing balance into my life and setting up my life in relationships for success, and avoiding unwanted, resentment and conflicts. This book has changed my life.

Game Changer

This book shocked me. I knew it would be good, but the number of times my eyes popped open wide because something clicked or I gained clarity in how to handle a specific situation surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend!
