Alex and Violet Forever

I adore this series. I think Alex might just be the perfect book boyfriend: alpha, possessive, giving, passionate, and romantic. While this book starts with what could be a life-altering incident, in typical Violet fashion she manages to only freak out in small increments and proves she has the stamina for life with Alex Water NHL star. Faced with planning a wedding, Violet's biggest obstacles aren't the venue or the planning it's her mother and future mother-in-law. In Helena Hunting fashion, she weaves humor, sex and romance into this story. I absolutely love the characters and their quirkiness and I'll be sad when it is eventually over, but for now I know I have a couple more books in the series. While I didn't see the end playing out as it did, I couldn't be happier with Alex and Violet's HEA.
I read and listened to this book. The dual narration was Jeremy York has one sexy voice and when he reads the romantic side of Alex, I swear I could melt. Emily C. Michaels really brings out Violet and her crazy, but can equally share Violet's softer side. I loved it. This will definitely be a relisten in the future.

The Wedding, and the hives that go with it

Alex and Violet and gearing up to tie the knot, but Violet can't seem to handle all the embarrassment that is destined to come with the public atrocity their mothers are planning. When a serious situation happens, Vi is forced to evaluate what's really important - protecting her propensity for nervous awkwardness or starting her life as Mrs. Alex Waters.

I am absolutely in love with Jeremy York and Emily C. Michaels as Alex and Vi. Even with the seriousness of some situations in this story, they keep the true nature of these well-developed characters throughout.

Both narrators ruined this for me

The narrators in Pucked were perfect for Violet & Alex. This just ruined it. I’m glad I’ve already read the book so I know how the story goes.

Violet & Alex Get Married

I had a hard time listening to this book. I felt the Emily Michaels did a very poor portrayal of Violet. I understand Violets quirkiness, but having it narrated to me was annoying :( Definitely read the story for yourself.

Eh...

Too much sex, not enough story. Expected a little more for Alex and Violet's wedding story. Still liked it, just the least favorite in the series so far.

I enjoyed catching up with violet and Alex and the rest of the team and the girls.

Violet is so funny I couldn’t stop laughing through the audio of the book. Alex is still so sweet and loving and I was glad how everything turned out for them.

I absolutely love this series!! And a book focusing on Alex & Violet, and wedding bells, is definitely a blast! Though I wasn’t prepared for some aspects of the story, (and my eyes may have done some serious leaking), I believe there is nothing better than getting ready for work while listening to a Helena Hunting story. Especially with these characters (because that’s what they are, a bunch of characters 😂). And even if tears of laughter make it difficult to put your makeup on, well worth the extra time!!

Say no to the girl narrator

Um I can't finish this book it's boring for some reason. The women narrator made it hard to listen to I wanted so bad to finish it but she made it boring more than it was. Jeremy was good. I hope she doesn't use this lady again so not worth listening to her. She sounded tired and voice was eh plus read sort of fast.

I wanted to so bad to listen to it I may have to get it on ebook. Because I cannot listen to it on audible ugh!
