Publisher's summary

Emory: Will Grayson has always been an animal. Reckless, wild, and someone who was never bound by a single rule other than to do exactly what he wanted. There was no way his grandfather was going to risk him humiliating the family again.

Not that the last time was entirely his fault. He might've enjoyed backing me into corners in high school when no one was looking, so they wouldn't catch on that Mr. Popular actually wanted a piece of that quiet, little nerd he loved to torture so much, but...he could also be warm. And fierce in keeping me safe.

The truth is...he has a right to hate me. It's all my fault. And I regret nothing.

Will: I never minded being locked up. I learned a long time ago that being treated like an animal gives you permission to act like one. Their only mistake is believing anything I do is an accident. I can sit in this house with no internet, television, liquor, or girls, but I'll come out of here with something far more frightening to my enemies. A plan.

I just didn't expect one of my enemies to come to me. I can smell her hiding in the house. She's here. Blackchurch houses five prisoners. I'm only one of her problems.

Contains mature themes.

OMFG!!!!

I HAD CHILLS RUN DOWN MY BODY AT THE END OF THIS BOOK..... I HAD TO REPLAY THE LAST FEW MINUTES OVER AGAIN AND GOT CHILLS THE 2ND TIME.

What's going to happen to Athos and and everyone? I hate cliffhangers....seriously!!!!!!

I absolutely fell in love with this series and need to know what happens. This series is just amazing. It is truly DARK Romance and it not for the faint of heart. There is child abuse, sexual abuse, rape, you name it, so if you have triggers, this series is not for you. However, if you love Dark Romance, this series is phenomenal, just start with book 1.

I love the narrators, they are great!

Nightfall by Penelope Douglas
Emory lived a life of pain and abuse, to protect her aging Grandmother. Will had been infatuated with Emory, the nerd, the girl with big glasses, and clothes that hide her body, she tried her utmost not to be seen. But there was so much more to her, and he wanted her. Emory rejected him at every turn. Until they spend a magical night together and then it all comes crashing down. Emory did what she thought she had to. And Will had vowed for revenge. While we all thought Will to be the one that was not calculated, in this story we see a different side to him, and how he planned to bring down the mighty. Included in that plan is Emory, except she lands up in Blackchurch, the place where the rich and famous send their sons to be taught the lesson to never disgrace the family. Emory finds herself in a terrible situation especially since she was the cause of Will's fall from grace. What are the chances he would forgive her? And are the men in Blackchurch setting her up for the ultimate fall For me personally, I found this story long-winded and a tad boring, with everything but the kitchen sink thrown in. The early days of Will and Emory were great, you feel the connection, but then Blackchurch happened, and it played out like a shock factor, to see how you could push the reader’s boundaries. I don’t have a problem with boundaries if they move the story along and it makes sense. But it didn’t make sense, the characters were not the same – something was off. If anything, I felt like the author just had fleeting thoughts and threw them all in and unfortunately it came across as a mess. There were parts that I really enjoyed and other parts that were so unnecessary and came across as filler. Overall, it was just an okay read for me, I really did expect more from Ms. Douglas on this one. I listened to this and the narrators did a superb job - I just was not wow on this story.

The best one of the series!

After listening to the first three books, I was hesitant to buy this one but I'm glad I did. Even though it took we a while to like Emory, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I would love have more books in this series with the kids. Atos's story, Madden and Octavia... great job, Penelope Douglas.

Everything came together

This was a good series and everything truly did come together which I was happy about. I loved the relationship Emory had with the other boys in the house. There’s one piece of the puzzle that I wish was solved but overall everything else connected. Narrators were good and I like that the read the entire series together.

Nightfall

I did not follow the storyline well and ended up getting confused with the characters because I got lost in the epilogue. This book kept my interest in some parts but not so much in others. The narrators did a good job. I usually like her books but this one did not score with me.

A great final book to the series

Narration was amazing as always. There are lots of characters but they were all individual voices.

Story was wonderful and wrapped up an amazing series. Everyone gets their due justice and or happily ever after

Can’t get enough of this book

Best book in the entire series and Will Grayson III will forever be my favourite book boyfriend. Boy was so in love, he almost destroyed his life. The heartbreak and pain in this book made me feel for both him and Emery. Only Penn Doug can make me obsess over fictional characters like this❤️
