Funny as f*#$

Tara Sivec is an amazing author! This book is insanely funny, my husband thought I was nuts because I was laughing out loud it was so funny. The narrator did an amazing job bringing the book to life. Loved every second of this book ❤️❤️

Hilariously Snarky.

If you grew up up the 90's & your usual comebacks involve Bevis & Butthead or Heather's then this totally up you ally. Funny, sweet & sexy!

One of the best I've heard

This book was great. Laughed from start to finish. This is definitely one to listen to again.

I think this is my 4th listen/read of this book and I can't believe I haven't reviewed it before. This time I chose this book for my Audiobook Club to listen and discuss and after finishing I have to say I'm so glad I chose this book. No matter how many times you read it or listen to it, It is still hilarious!!! I love how crude and quirky these characters can be and Gavin... oh Gavin, He stole the show! I don't know how many times I laughed out loud while listening but I know it isn't nearly as many times as I heard the work vagina HAHA! All of these characters including the friends are truly great characters, they are all honest, funny and down right dirty! If you don't have a problem with crude and dirty humor and haven't listened to this book, You totally should!!!!!!

The narration really left a lot to be desired.. Her voice wasn't what I would have chosen for Claire but the big problem is that she didn't differentiate between characters at all. You had no idea at times who was talking... male or female! A better narrator would have made this audiobook a 10 star audio for me!

Decent, at times it felt it was a bit too much, almost, like the author was forcing the funny and absurd.

The story is what I expect from Tara. I spent most of the book laughing and fell in love with the characters.

Funny, and that's all I've got that's good.

The hardest part for me is that the narrator used the same voice for everyone. The POV would flip between Carter and Claire in the middle of a chapter and you'd have no idea who was speaking until at least a few lines in when you'd get context clues. I found that horribly annoying.

Bad Narrator, Hilarious Book

Would you listen to Seduction and Snacks again? Why?

Yes. The dialogue is laugh out loud funny.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Carter. He is just so sweet. I loved Drew too. We all need a friend like that. :D

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She is HORRIBLE. The characters all have the same voice. It would be like me reading a book out loud. The male and female characters sound the same, so you have to figure out who is talking by the context. So frustrating for an audio book.

Seriously funny. Great way to escape and put yourself in a good mood.

Some parts were over the top, but the overall book was very sweet and funny.

An exercise in the use of the word vagina

I listened all the way through and there were some funny moments, but mostly it was just incessant talk of vaginas and penises. Got kind of boring.

Great story

This book was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. It had be cracking up constantly, which got me more than a few strange looks at I was listening with earbuds in while waiting for appointments or on break at work.

This was my commute book for the week! And I will not lie I showed up giggling each morning. This entire group is the biggest hot mess & I love it!!
