"Tara Sivec delivers another amazing book with The Simple Life! This is romcom at its finest!" (FMR Book Grind)

Brooklyn Manning thought her life was perfect in every way, until it crumbled down around her and turned into a dumpster fire. With her pride wounded and her tail tucked between her legs, she leaves New York and goes back to her tiny hometown of White Timber, Montana.

No more 24-hour taco trucks, no more shopping at the best designer stores within walking distance, no more giving taxi drivers the finger when they angrily honk at her. She didn’t think it could get any worse. But then Clint Hastings walked into the room and insulted her.

Her arch nemesis from high school is no longer a nerdy computer whiz, masturbating to pictures in PC World magazine in his free time (allegedly). He’s grown up to be a hot-as-hell cowboy, and she has no other choice but to be a smart ass right back to him. After all, it’s what they do. It’s what they’ve always done, and 12 years apart hasn’t changed anything.

Only this time, getting under each other’s skin is a hell of a lot more fun than it used to be.

Not only was the story line great, the narrators did an excellent job. I laughed, felt sorry for Brooklyn and the hot scenes were really HOT!

Loved this book

Loved, loved, loved this book! The narrators were great too. Tara Sivec writes the best romantic comedies! I laughed my way through this and “Just My Type” and if I laughed any harder I would need to start wearing Depends when I listen to her books. I can’t wait to read the next book written by both Tara Sivec and Andi Arndt (my favorite female narrator) “Heidi’s Guide to Four Letter Words.” Keep on writing.... PLEASE!!

Fantastic!

I would normally not comment on swearing. But seriously does there need to be several swear words in every single paragraph? It was just way over done. Fowl language is like a loud horn that can bring attention to certain situations. But when it is used non stop -- that horn becomes very annoying and distracts from the flow of the story.

story is good vocab is aweful

I listened to this book in a day..a DAY! It was relatable (mostly), funny, heart warming and a little maddening. Worth the listen!

Loved it!
