Publisher's Summary

When Noni married the love of her life, she finally thought she would get everything she deserved. Riches, success, status, influence - she had it all as the wife of Mr. Dominick Meyer. But there is more to her title than meets the eye.

When she catches Dom cheating and discovers that he isn't the businessman he portrayed himself to be, her life is changed forever. Finding out that their wealth was amassed from drug money and that Dom has never truly been faithful, she wants out. With a messy divorce pending, Noni empties her husband's bank accounts and goes on the lam in an attempt to run away from her daunting reality. She never expected to find a new love along the way. But when Dom comes knocking and a debt has to be paid, her world spirals out of control.

Join Ashley Antoinette as she pens an explosive short story series that takes you through love, loss, truth, lies, drugs, money, and death. Love has a way of leaving you burned in the end, and Noni only hopes she can escape its clutches unscathed.

Don't waste your credit!!!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you are naive and stupid

Has Love Burn turned you off from other books in this genre?

NOPE!!! I love Ashley & Jaquavis. Just didn't like this one.

What didn’t you like about Honey Jones’s performance?

She was annoying in this one. Too many pauses in unnecessary places. No difference in the characters. No emotion. Just dry and a super strong New York accent. Bugged me.

What character would you cut from Love Burn?

Mercy or whatever his name was. Idk lol. Just finished the book and already forgot it. Smh.

Any additional comments?

Repetitive narrative. How many times is Noni gonna talk about how dumb and naive she is? How many times was she gonna go back to Dom? What was the point of this story? It was like a merry go round that I couldn't WAIT to end🙄

Dynamic Duo!!!

I have read every book these two authors have written together and their solo projects. This book did not disappoint. I almost cried at the end, GO MERCY!!!!!! If I had one critique it would be the narrator. I forced myself to listen to Luxe because I really wanted to listen to the book. Since that thing, this narrator has gotten better but Nicole Small is really the one to bring these hot story lines to life if a female is going to do it. Another banger though!

all in the name of love

I have never read a book that had me feeling all type of emotions from happy, sad, laughing, crying. I absolutely loved this book. the flow of the story grabs you from the first couple of pages. Even when I wasn't listening to the book I was thinking about the characters and their story. A must read.

Love Burn 1-4?

Spoilers????
This book had me sad, emotional, mad, happy All at the same time I was fussing and everything lol, especially with Noni because she kept going back to Dom, like girl please stop I was making mad faces, saying girl If you don't go get with Mercy, and finally he hit it but it was ruin with Tate stank *** glad the ending came out good because she ended up with Mercy even though she lost her baby again.

ok

repetitive, to many inner monologs, no growth, unnecessarily wordy, many reactions seemed improbable, primary character,s actions didn't match with the person the author kept describing.
