Publisher's summary

In The Millionaire Messenger, Brendon Burchard pulls back the curtains on the once-secretive "expert industry" and shows how to become an influential and highly paid advice expert through websites, books, speeches, seminars, coaching, consulting, and online programs. Blessed to receive life's golden ticket - a second chance - after surviving a dramatic car accident, Burchard has dedicated his life to helping others find their voice, live more fully, and follow their dreams. By following his 10-step program, average, ordinary people can learn to package their struggles, successes, research, or life's story into advice for others and become experts on any given topic. In the industry of people who share their advice and knowledge with the world and get paid for it, Burchard is the guru's guru.

If you've ever wondered how the gurus spread their message, serve others, and build a real business, then this is a must-read.

Hard to keep listening

In a combination of his inability to pronounce words & his ability to talk for hours without teaching anything, I can honestly say its the worst audiobook I've ever listened to. This would more accurately be called "commentary on the expert industry" (while trying to convince you through his sales numbers that his good 'how to' stuff must be at experts academy)

If you want real advice about being a millionaire messenger, buy a course from Eben Pagan, his teachings are the opposite of this & you learn a lot about creating your message and monotizing it.

Quit your job by sharing your message

I love Brendon's enthusiasm and possibility thinking. You don't have to be stuck in a standard career. You can use your expertise to coach, train, and speak- serving so many more people than you could at a standard J.O.B. He is a little dramatic, so the narration can (at times) be a little intense, but the message is solid. Share your passion, make a lot of money, inspire others, and maybe just... change the world.

Great advice!

Become an expert and make money teaching what you know and love. He talks about developing seminars, online schools, writing books and ebooks, blogs, videos, etc. He offers gems of advice that I hadn't thought of and confirmed for me some ideas that I did have. Also, the narration is lively and not irritating.

I dropped a star because the book is a long brochure for Experts Academy, his signature seminar. But Experts Academy sounds like an amazing event to attend and he does give lots of advice in this book to make it worth the price and more.

Inspiring and motivational! It moved me to action.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would. The audio book was very engaging and the information was presented in a very simple and well organized way. Brendon gave clear and detailed steps on how to get started. He was very positive and encouraging, throughout the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Millionaire Messenger?

When Brendon said "Never undervalue who you are and what you know, and never underestimate what you are capable of."

What about Brendon Burchard’s performance did you like?

His voice tone was very encouraging and enthusiastic. He took the mystery out of internet marketing.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

I love to teach and to help people. I have something to say that will help lots of people. I should not feel awkward about being well compensated for my efforts.

Any additional comments?

I am very grateful for this book. In the past I was hesitant about becoming well versed on the internet. I am now determined to master the areas needed for marketing my "expert" advice.

Good book, but a bore in some parts.

This is a decent book to read. But it can be a bit boring at times. The author did not really grasp my attention to much. I stuck through it. The beginning has a great story towards the middle it gets boring and at the end it comes alive again. A Must read for motivational speakers.

Good book with a few points...

The author (and narrator) conveys the information well and he has a soothing voice, putting one at ease. The information was good and sometimes inspiring, but as the book progressed, it had a classroom test-taking feel, with the author speaking sentences and allowing us to complete them in a workshop-like or classroom-like manner. If you're not ready to dig in and write, this book is not for you, not for the passive listener.

The author is the narrator and echo could be heard from the recording area and his distance from the microphone was too far away it seemed by the sound. Some better acoustic foam placement would solve this problem. To the author/narrator's credit, he did a pretty good job of the narration itself though.
