Publisher's summary

There are three simple questions to determine whether you should listen to this audiobook:

  1. Have you ever wanted to know why some people make you feel inferior?
  2. Do you want to know how some people are able to communicate so brilliantly without saying anything?
  3. Do you want to learn how to instantly turn surface interactions into lasting and deep connections?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you need to listen to this audiobook. You will learn how to recognize various emotions or feelings such as nervousness, openness, anger, boredom, doubt, frustration, or excitement simply by observing facial expressions, postures, and gestures. You can never underestimate the power of body language.

You can use the knowledge of body language to identify if confidence, dominance, and other characteristics are existing in people. On the contrary, you may also perform these gestures when you want to convey certain personality traits to subconsciously influence others. Cool, isn’t it? You will never be in the dark again on a person’s mood when you can read their body language!

Beneficial to novices

Body Language is a beginners guide or explains insights into instincts. The book could probably be less than half the size with the basic content covered but the author repeats concepts several times. The narrator did a great job! Possibly useful for teens but not so much for adults.

Read in a disinterested fashion - like they were reading the phone book.
Text seems little more than repurposing of entries on Wikipedia or general psych website (I.e. psych central).
Can’t remember if this was a freebie; certainly hope it was.
Do NOT read if over 18 (or 16 for that matter)
