Really enjoyed this book I love anything involving a controlled man that sweeps guarded women off their feet!

Very good book

This was a very good book. John Lane is becoming one of my new fav narrators!! That voice of his sends goosebumps up my……well, you get the picture!

Bentley was completely adorable!!

Loved this book!! At first I thought it was going to be the standard rom-com format, but it quickly evolved into an engrossing love story with humor, suspense, and quirkiness!! I also loved the dynamic between the three guys: Bentley, Aiden and Maddox. They were as close as brothers and tormented each other the same way:)) it was fun listening to their antics!
I will be listening to this one again!

Not what I expected

This is a good start and not what I thought it would be from the blurb. It was sweet and fun and the narration made it a really good listen.

It was okay

It was okay. Kinda cheesy. Hard to believe someone would go to such extremes just for a land deal. So in the that sense the unbelievable part of this book was the part I struggled with the most.

This book was fantastic couldn't put it down, Melanie Moreland you did it again, I have read and listen to all three books twice, waiting on number four. Reid Matthews, narrated I love John Lane, Maxine Mitchell (You Guys Rock 🎸 to the fifth power😊😃

Bentley is swoon-worthy

Cocky alpha males are so overrated. With or without his wealth, Bentley is a real prince charming: kind, considerate and generous. I wish more authors wrote about heroes like this. Emmy is adorable. I started this book at the gym and hoped no one noticed that I couldn’t stop smiling at Bentley and Emmy’s first conversation. Good story with elements of mystery and danger over Bentley’s business dealings. Side characters add interest and are featured in sequels. Narration is so-so. John Lane reads well, but his gravelly voice is overdone. Even my husband noticed in passing and said he didn’t like the over-dramatic narrator.

Cutely funny

Sweet and cute, the story draws you in with laughs. Enjoyable characters. Light intrigue to diversify the story. Introduction of characters for the rest of the series.

Only complaint is about the performance. There isn’t enough pause between scenes, so it’s confusing and jarring when suddenly it’s different characters in a different place/time. I don’t care for the female performer’s male voice, but it doesn’t really detract from the performance too much.
