Publisher's summary

Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that.

Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the Internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can't find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good.

But why can't she stop fantasizing about him?

Kline Brooks is the quintessential billionaire bad boy - dark, styled, short hair, muscles for days, and a panty-dropping smile.

Except he isn't. As his employee, he won't touch her with a 10-foot pole. And she won't touch him either. Too bad their hormones missed the memo.

Sweet Funny Romance!!!

What made the experience of listening to Tapping the Billionaire the most enjoyable?

I had already read this book before I listened to the audiobook, but I love that I get to experience it in another medium. This book is not what you'd expect it to be. Billionaire? Check. Bad boy? Nope. Womanizing arrogant jerk? Not even close. But it will make you laugh and it will make you smile.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tapping the Billionaire?

One of the most memorable moments came when Kline called Georgia from his flight and asked her to give a play-by-play of a football game going on that he and Thatch had a bet on. She, not being a football fan, does not know any football lingo so they have to interpret her commentary, including her very funny nicknames for the players in the game. I was laughing so hard!

There's also a scene where Geogia has an allergic reaction and takes way too much Benadryl.

Which character – as performed by CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer – was your favorite?

I really enjoyed all of the characters, but I have to say that I have a soft spot for Kline, and Thatch and Cassie were hilarious best friends. Both CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer did a wonderful job! I've listened to both of them before and always enjoy their performances.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to it all in one sitting!

Any additional comments?

In Tapping the Billionaire Kline Brooks is the owner of a large media company and Georgia Cummings is the head of the marketing department. One night Kline is at work and his mother calls him to tell him that she set him up with a date for an upcoming gala, not wanting to go with yet another self-obsessed floosie Kline tells his mother he already has a date. Georgia is working late at the office listening and singing along (to a very inappropriate song... It deals with her neck, her back, her...) when Kline walks in and asks her to be his date to an upcoming gala - she eventually agrees.

Let me just say that this book wasn't what I was expecting, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's got a very strong male and female lead which I really enjoyed. The billionaire romance is starting to get a little saturated but this was fresh and new. Yes, there are cliches, but that's part of what makes romance so enjoyable. There isn't a lot of angst, but it's also not all sex scenes, while there is a bunch of sex there is also a lot of substance inbetween. We get to see the day to day life of the characters, work and home life (there is an asshole cat named Walter in it), so it feels like you're invested and you care. This book also doesn't take itself too seriously, it's fun and funny and the perfect escape. I highly recommend it!

5 Tapping the Billionaire Stars

Ok seriously as I am typing this I am laughing out loud.. This book is that good, I loved it from the beginning right to the end.
I am sooooooo happy I was gifted this gem from a friend because the audio is EPIC.

Eric Michael Summerer.. YUMMY ok I am putting it out there, audio virgins.. I swear you will not know what hit you.. And CJ Bloom she does Georgia sooooo freaking well.

I can’t explain the feel good feels you will get from this book, the endless laughs, and the swoon worthy compliments.

If you’re looking for a light hearted up beat romance this is totally the book for you because it has everything you want in a Rom Com.. <3

Okay, yes.

Normally I won't buy books with 'billionaire' anywhere in the title, but tried this one based on the reviews. It's a pretty good book, and frankly there was no reason for this guy to be a billionaire other than to prove that he's successful and humble. Oh, and to make possible a grand gesture over a contrived misunderstanding. For me, clever banter can overcome a multitude of ills, so I did like this book.

Did I like it enough for a credit? No. Sale? Yes.

WOW!

Oh my, this was a complete surprise. I almost passed it up bc of the front cover. It looked as though it'd be corny and lame. But man oh man was I wrong. I was both laughing and crying during it. THIS is my dream love story.

Fun Story But Skip the Audio

The excerpt sounded really good and most of the reviews were favorable so I was really looking forward to this. I should preface this my saying that a lot of this is likely just based on personal preference so take it as you will.

First of I think this probably would have been much better if I had bought the e-book and not the Audible. The narration just flat out ruined this for me. The male narrator was fairly decent but the female narrator was just awful in my opinion. She overly emphasized every other word and she practically yelled the dialogue. It was horribly distracting. The dialogue itself didn't help. A lot of it was cringe worthy. The nicknames drove me nuts and some of the sex euphemisms just made me roll my eyes.

The overall story was fun and there were parts that made me laugh out loud in a good way but there were just too many nitpicks for me to really enjoy it. I don't know if it was because of the narrator but I just didn't care for the female protagonist. She just seemed too flighty. I may try another book of this author's but in e-book form to see if the audio really makes that much difference.

A SUPERB FUN & SEXY ROM/COM THAT BLEW ME AWAY

We've all seen, and perhaps listened to, some of the inter-office romance books that are out there and so you'd be forgiven in thinking that this is just going to be another one of those mediocre office romance love stories. However, I am happily here to tell you that this listen is a cut way above the rest because it packs in so so much. There's a tender tentative and sweet love story that blossomed and bloomed from the H/H's disastrous but hilarious first date. There's clever, witty and lol banter, there's sizzling chemistry, as well as urgent rip your clothes off sex, between a dirty talking hot Hero and a feisty Heroine who sadly suffered from foot and mouth.. she's either putting her foot in it or opening her mouth and verbally spewing it. There's also some good secondary characters too.

Kline's the sexy charismatic Billionaire that asked his Employee for a date and Georgia was the beautiful Marketing Manager that reservedly said yes when she thought she should've said no.. but she never regretted it. Oh, okay well there was a week where Georgia was heartbroken and Kline was distraught because secrets always have a way of being found out - and Kline's little stint at concealing the truth would bring this loveable sweet sweet Billionaire to his knees.

This is a really entertaining and enjoyable dual POV feel good romance where I loved everything - the characters, the awesome story, the supporting cast, the funny quick witted dialogue, the romantic, the tender and the sweaty times and the narration was good too - although I thought CJ Bloom's voice was a bit harsh at times when she got carried away and shouted rather than just said the dialogue.

Worth a credit? It was funny, sassy, sweet, romantic, sexy, light and there was only a little bit of angst and heartache when Kline innocently plunged the both of them into hell for a while.. but his heartfelt romantic and swoon-worthy apology more than made up for what he'd done. Very creditworthy and I'm looking forward to Thatch and Cassie's story next.

couldn't stop laughing

Seriously funny, the side characters made this book hilarious. the romance side wasn't half bad either. Liked the narrator's, both made the story come to life.

Didn't like, couldn't finish book.

CJ Bloom is a terrible narrator...she is WAY too LOUD and constantly yells what the females are saying, can't hardly differentiate between characters durning her chapters. Couldn't finish book after 2nd chapter, want refund.

Not for me!

This was hard to listen too, maybe it was the subject, the language or all of it. I wasn't engaged I gave it 5 chapters and I was out. I don't like the two different narrator setup. If you're into a vulgar, over sexed story go for it.
