Publisher's summary

I've been told I'm the grumpiest goalie in the league, and that may be the case, but who cares when I'm also killing it this season?

The Carolina Comets are currently on a record-breaking run, and I intend to keep it that way. This means the last thing I need is distractions, but my mother didn't get that memo. She's getting married, and after the fiasco I caused at her last wedding, I'm required to bring a date.

That would be easy, except for one little thing: I don't date. So why is the only person I want to take a single mom who can't stand me?

We're a horrible match, and it makes no sense that I'd be into her. But the more time we spend together, the more it's starting to look like this might be one game I can't win.

Glove Save is a standalone hockey rom-com with a grumpy goalie who likes to argue with a ten-year-old, a single mom, lots of fun banter, and steam galore!

The man doing woman voices

It was cute. I had read several other books in the series, they are all very similar

Glove Save: Carolina Comets Book 6

🎧🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧🎧

PERFORMANCE: 5 STAR

I’ve been a fan of both Tim Paige & Callie Dalton for a while now but I’m beginning to be a superfan! They both not only did well with their own voices, but also with their secondary voices as well. They work really well together and enhance the listening experience tenfold!

STORY: 5 STAR

From the blurb … ”There's a grumpy goalie who likes to argue with a ten-year-old” … how does anyone not #oneclick immediately based just on that?! Seriously kids, this story has not been experienced by enough people yet and I can’t understand whyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! LOL But I digress …

To call this story a mere romcom is like saying Paris is just a city. STOP.IT. This was glitter bomb comedic relief at its best! I loved everyone! The story was fun and swoony, and Greer’s development was just perfect! His chemistry with not just Stevie but also Macie was ridiculously well done! I mean for real; they don’t come any grumpier, adverse to relationships and allergic to kids as Greer! Or so we think, because Stevie and little Macie brought out the absolute best in him and it was an absolute joy to experience it! This story is one of my favorite single parent stories of this year! GO DO THE THING if you haven’t already! #TRUST

Grumpy Goalie

Greer is grumpy AF and Stevie doesn’t like him. However, he trains her daughter (Macie) as a goalie. She loves hockey, which is really cute as Greer and Macie bond over the game. Stevie and Greer had the chemistry, and the dislike between the two of them doesn’t last. Their story does have heart, and I love how they reach their HEA. 4.5 stars

Grumpy goalies are my fave!

Greer and Stevie are two of my favorite couples from this entire series and I couldn’t wait to listen to their story again on audiobook!

I fell even more in love with these two and little spitfire Macie!
The banter and relationship development not just with Greer and Stevie but especially Greer and Macie is too notch!

I enjoyed the narration and thought it fit both characters perfectly!

Single mom heroine and grumpy hockey goalie hero!

4.5 stars! Glove Save is book 6 in the Carolina Comets series and this low angst, hockey romance series has been such a delight! I definitely recommend this series, there is truly a trope and fav for everyone. This one is a grumpy hero and a single mom heroine!

Greer is a grumpy hockey goalie whose life gets turned upside down when Stevie and her daughter enter his life. He overhears someone getting handsy with Stevie at a party and steps in. Later he ends up asking for an exchange with her, his mom is getting remarried and wants him to have a date to this wedding since he embarrassed her at her last wedding. Greer asks Stevie to be his date, someone respectable who also won’t want anything from him. And in exchange, he offers to give her hockey-obsessed 10 year old daughter hockey lessons!

I just loved seeing this grumpy guy fall for Stevie and her daughter. The way her daughter and him banter and argue was so much fun and all the hockey time was so cute too. Another solid addition to this fun series!

Greer Has My Heart!!!

Who doesn’t love a good hockey romance!? I know I do, and once again, 𝚃𝚎𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚗 𝙷𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛 is here to bring us another fabtastic story! This one follows a grumpy, hot goalie and the beautiful sunshiny single mom who captures his attention!

I’ve loved following these 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝘀 men and the women who steal their hearts. I can’t get enough! I was so excited for Greer + Stevie’s story and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Watching Greer with Stevie and her daughter was so fun. His banter with them was captivating and seeing him fall hard, and I mean hard, for them was absolutely amazing!

And the sparks that fly between Greer + Stevie!? Holy Hockey Hotness, Batman! It lit up my headphones and Kindle and wow! I felt it all as if I was right in the middle of them!

𝚃𝚒𝚖 𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚐𝚎 & 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚎 𝙳𝚊𝚕𝚝𝚘𝚗, once again, nailed the narrations for these characters on the head. They brought the emotions, the banter, the characters to life and kept me invested the whole time! Love them as a narrating duo!

This is definitely a great installment in the series. From start to finish you’re hooked, invested and waiting to see what happens between these beautifully chiseled characters. By the end, you’ve got a smile on your face and wanting more from the talented author!

Love this series!

The sixth book in this series is about Greer and Stevie. We have met both before throughout the series. Greer is the guy you never see getting a girlfriend since he's such a grump and not usually part of the witty banter that goes on with the other guys. Although you do get a taste of what's coming with him in the previous book.

This series always brings the feels. It's a great hockey series, but more than that it is great writing. It's witty banter and and characters that you just can't get enough of. I would love this series to go on forever. It makes you feel things.

Greer and Stevie start off on the wrong foot and make a deal where she will accompany Greer to his mother's wedding. What she doesn't expect is to fall for him. And when Greer starts to fall for Stevie, well of course he does dumb things. This story pulled at my heart strings. I laughed and cried. Great story!

The narrators did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. Loved it!

This can be read as a stand-alone but the entire series is worth a read.
We knew Greer and Stevie would deliver a fun and sexy story. Grumpy Greer is a thorn in Stevie’s side.

Greer is portrayed as the grumpy goalie. However, he loves his mom, always show up for his fans and is a loyal teammate. He may give his friends a hard time, but it just his nature. He has an issue with commitment and relationships but Stevie and Macie challenge his ideas. Before he realizes it, he is all in. That’s not to say hit didn’t make some mistakes.

Stevie is a mama bear. She goes to battle for her baby. She has also been burned by relationships it has made her wiser. . She needed to keep her wits about her with Greer. He definitely was a challenge.

This story is fun, the banter between the main characters along with the banter with the team is worth a good laugh.

Greer and Stevie may be my favorite from the series.

This whole series is so much fun!!

* Hockey Romance
* Grumpy / Sunshine
* Single mom
* Standalone in an interconnected series

I adore this whole series. After reading the last book I thought Miller was going to be my favorite, but Greer has taken top spot! His grumpiness was on another level, but he is no match for Stevie or her beloved daughter, Macy. Watching this terrible grump fall for them both was so beautiful and heartwarming. The spice is definitely there and listening to it on audio brings that meter up to a new level. It can be read/listened to as a standalone, but I highly recommend experiencing this series from the beginning as it is so much fun catching up with everyone from previous books.

The audio was amazing. While I usually steer clear of series that use the same narrators throughout, Tim Paige and Callie Dalton do an amazing job here and with enough time spaced between it is not too bad having them voice all the characters. The talent they both possess more than makes up for the time it may take to get used to the new characters they are playing from one book to the next. I highly recommend this audiobook (and the complete series) to any sports romance fans that enjoy different tropes as this series covers them all and then some.

Fun, flirty and swoony!

I’ve been waiting for this grumpy goalie’s story and it did not disappoint. “Glove Save” is a fun, flirty and swoony grumpy/sunshine romance that had me laughing out loud and swoony the next.

Jacob Greer is the grumpy star goalie of the Carolina Comets. Out one night with his teammates, thet spot a table full of women but that’s an instant no for Greer. He is on Team No Relationships, especially since his mother is on her fourth marriage. But when one of the women is being harassed by a drunk guy, he doesn’t hesitate to step in. And that woman happens to be Stevie, Scout’s sister. The two have always butted heads and especially when her fiery 10 year old daughter, Macie, is there. When Greer needs a date to his wedding, he trades hockey lessons for Macie so Stevie agrees. But as they all spend time together, a bond forms.

I laughed out loud so many times while listening to this story. I loved Greer, Stevie and Macie so much. Greer really is a classic grump and I loved him slowly falling for Stevie and Macie. It was gradual and then bam, he knew those were his girls. The banter between them was great but the banter between Greer and Macie was even better. She kept him on his toes and made sure he knew she was the boss. I loved the relationship that they formed. Stevie is amazing and I loved how devoted she was to her daughter. Greer and Stevie had a bit of a slow-medium burn as they worked through their initial dislike of each other but once they gave in, it was sizzling hot. The ending was perfect and had me swooning extra hard for Greer.

Callie Dalton and Tim Paige were so amazing as Stevie and Greer. Tim was great and fully embraced grumpy Greer and I enjoyed his performance so much. I love Callie Dalton and she was great as the independent and fierce Stevie. I can’t wait to listen to more books narrated by them.
