It feels like coming home when listening to sports romance written by the effervescent Kandi Steiner! And her new hockey romance series has already started off with a bang! Vince and Maven were everything I never knew I needed until I did. Their snarky banter, tension, and fire burning chemistry offers unforgettable steam and passion!

𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 was the perfect balance of sports, romance, and character development. The found family aspect that was oozing from the pages has me so excited for the rest of this series and to see where their stories take us next!

Edward Black was the perfect person to portray Vince's patience, understanding, and care toward Maven. He did a phenomenal job in exuding in his performance by showcasing the character's ability to peel back Maven’s layers one by one and breaking down those walls she holds onto fiercely around her heart.

I always love listening to books narrated by Megan Wicks, and this performance was another goal listen! She shined throughout her narration, portraying Maven’s vulnerable and guarded heart and her fear of feeling worthy. It was refreshing to see Maven realize that not all pro-athletes are the same, and everyone deserves love!

Excellent Audio!!

I thought I was obsessed with this book when I read it with my eyeballs the first time through, but listening to it with my ears may have even made it better! This book is such a well written hockey romance & I think that both of the narrators did a masterful job bringing Vince & Maven to life. This was also my first time listening to a book with duet narration and let me tell you, that only enhanced this whole experience.

It’s no Love Letter to Whiskey…

I wasn’t to crazy about the narration, and the fMC was a bit too insecure for my tastes, but I guess that’s sort of Steiner’s bag. Most the of the books I’ve read by her have annoyingly, difficult female leads. Still, it’s a decent read, albeit overlong for its content.

Vince Cool…

What a sexy story! I loved the instant connection between Vince and Maven and the team antics. Looking forward to the other stories in this new series!

Narrators are awesome

OMG so good. The anix is what Kandi Steiner does well. so can't wait to read Grace's book. Love this audiobook.

Hockey Romance Perfection

I am in love!!! Vince….sigh…that man is everything. Top book boyfriend people.

I ate this book up!!! Like why did I wait so long to read this!?!? As soon as I found out it was pro hockey…I immediately downloaded the audiobook and whew were my ears happy with me LOL. Thank you friends for enlightening me.

The tension and forced proximity in this book had me SWOONING so hard!! And Vince dishing out those hand necklaces…SO HOTT!!! Yes…that’s hot with TWO Ts. He was such an alpha man, but the way he was with Maven and all the little things he did for her made me melt.

Vince and Maven’s connection was absolute perfection. I loved how their relationship developed throughout the book. I loved the guys on the team and how they were with Maven. And I loved Vince’s family. And yes…I already cannot wait to read Daddy P’s book!!

Do yourself a favor and if you haven’t read this book yet…start it immediately!

Round of applause to Edward Black and Megan Wicks to bringing Vince and Maven alive. Kandi has used Megan in previous books and I just love her so much! What I loved about this audio was the duet narration compared to the usual dual narration she does. Duet narration makes the experience so much better! PSA to not listen to this audio out loud in public, the spice is filthy yall !!! Infinity stars✨ for book and Audio 🥰

Great start to the series

One of the best I’ve read from this author. Can’t wait for the rest of the series. I love the main characters, their banter and angst. Great narration.

I’ve been meaning to get around to this one👏🏻 I’m so glad I finally picked it up! I really enjoyed the audio, glad I went this route. Of course I’m jumping right into the next book😊❤️

Epic Match!

I loved this book so much I had to listen to the audio as well (thank you VPR & KS!). The narrators for this audio were perfection but Megan Wicks as Maven was the ultimate match up. This entire book was so easy on the ears and just made it better. If you are an audio fan definitely add this one to your library!

It's official - I'm completely obsessed with Vince & Maven. While reading this book I wanted to keep turning page after page as this couple completely entranced me but at the same time I didn't want their story to end!

Vince is a playboy hockey player looking to make a name for himself as the best rookie there is. Maven wants to change the world and help others in need. These two couldn't be more opposite; from their upbringing to their jobs and everything in between. When they find themselves working together to get what they both want to further their careers they find themselves unable to stay away from each other.

This couple just works so well together. They way they talk and learn each other, not just intimately, but in all ways makes for a beautiful story. Also the spice between these two is off the charts hot! Loved them, love the Tampa Bay Ospreys and cannot wait to see more stories from this team!
