Publisher's Summary

Welcome to their kingdom....

I never thought I'd step foot in Royal Manor again. But four years later, here I am...back to finish my senior year at Royal Hearts Academy.

And forced to face Jace Covington.

My first friend. First crush. First kiss. The one I left behind.

Only - he isn't the same boy I gave my heart to.

This new Jace is as cruel as he is gorgeous. And he's determined to make my life a living hell. Along with the rest of his glorified family and crew of tyrants.

They expect me to worship the ground they walk on like everyone else, but I'd rather eat dirt.

If Jace Covington wants me gone...he'll have to try harder. Because I've never been the kind of girl to play by the rules.

Warning: Royal Hearts Academy is a new adult/high school series of standalones filled with drama, a touch of angst, and boys who are bad to the bone. Contains graphic language and sexual content. Recommended for mature listeners.

almost perfect

I loved the family loyalty and I felt all the pain and anger. You could really feel the battle and confusion and love with the main characters though I have to say the cousin was my favorite. My only complaints are that Dillon was a little dense and scattered it made her character annoying. my second complaint is that the next books aren't on audible yet.

A Cruel Prince indeed...!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m always on the lookout for a bully type romance book with a darker theme, like “Fear Me” (series) by BB Reid and “Bully” by Penelope Ward and the summary of this one was similar.
This book is similar but perhaps not quite as good as first books in above series. The narration was excellent, the story was good, good enough I listened in one day!!! Now the reason my rating is 5⭐️narration and 4⭐️story is because it felt the characters weren’t as developed or detailed as in other stories. I was left wanting to know more about several situations and traumatic events. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t good, it was and I recommend you download today!!! It was a star away (for me) from being at top of my list in this genre❌⭕️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It could also be that we didn’t get to experience how the two main protagonists navigated their relationship once together... a lot of push and pull and I personally felt she (Dylan) let Jace off way too easy in the end. Still loved it and would purchase any follow up books for sure! Jace was def hot, with a no apology bad boy attitude!

4 stars

A few things that kept this from being a 5 star listen. My main issue is that the past happens when they were in 8th grade but they talk like they are much older. Also I hated that the H pushed the h away not only in the past but the present. I get why but for me the amount of time they were actually on good terms was not enough. I needed more of them because I'm greedy and I wanted him to grovel more. Despite those things I did really like this book. I especially liked when his jealous possessive side came out. I am still heartbroken over what Liam went through and I have to say out of all the characters he was my favorite. So if you're in the mood for a good bully book I would definitely recommend this one.

Narration was perfect! 5 stars
