Stoooop Leo is so cute. Perfect book boyfriend- no. HUSBAND- material. There was a fun blast from the past as well! Ok who’s next.

Sweetest couple

Characters you can't help but fall in love with voiced by Aaron Shedlock and Desiree Ketchum equals another winning combination for Rebecca Jenshak. Leo and Scarlett are one of the best couples I've read, or in this case, listened to, in a long time. From their first meeting, you can feel the chemistry, and they're just one of those couples that make you smile. I've said it before about book boyfriends, but I don't think it's ever been as true as it is right now - every young woman should have a Leo in her life. Ha! Every woman of any age should have a Leo! He's so completely sweet and willing to go the extra mile to be what his girl needs even if she doesn't know she needs it. Scarlett is at that place in her life where she's trying to decide what she wants for her future, and I love that she doesn't make any excuses for that. There is some romantic angst, of course, but these two definitely bring the feels, most of them good. When I mentioned characters you can't help but fall in love with, I wasn't just talking about Scarlett and Leo. This book is packed full of terrific characters - from Scarlett's dad to her best friend to Leo's friends and teammates, each character adds something to the story, and none of them are what I would consider filler. Even the one or two who stir some trouble aren't just filler. They all come together to help shape this romance into an impossible to put down story from start to finish. So, if you haven't read Rebecca Jenshak's work, you should, and if you get the chance to listen to it, even better, especially with the stellar narration of Aaron Shedlock and Desiree Ketchum.

this reminded me of the off campus/briar u series. I have been trying to find something like those books for a while and this one did it.

A Swoon-Worthy & Heartfelt Delight! Fabulous🎧📚🎧

This fabulously entertaining sports romance novel swept me right in, grabbing my attention and captivating it the entire book. The characters are relatable, easy to connect with and care about. I adored the two lead characters, Scarlett Miller and Leo Lohan, the secondary characters are pretty amazing too. Scarlett is back home in the states after living in London with her now ex-boyfriend Rhyse, a professional race car driver. For the sake of publicity and his image, they kept their relationship private, but she was tired of being his secret girlfriend and gave him the chance to go public, but he chose his career instead. She opted to never get involved with another athlete again. She worked some odd jobs, including waitressing, which she is not very good at. But trivia nights at the bar were busy, and they needed the extra hands. And that is where she met him, hot Leo, the two hit it off right from the start and spent a memorable and hot night together. He said he would call her but it has been almost a week and she has not heard from him. Leo could not get Scarlett out of his mind or his dreams, she did not know who he was, which was a delight because most recognize the Wildcat hockey players. He did plan on calling her, but it was a busy week for him and he kept putting it off. The coach had invited the team over to his house, like he does every year at the start of the season, and it surprised him to see his dream girl there, even more surprised to find out who she was, the coach daughter, a big no no. I loved how these two came about and everything that followed, it is a charming and beautifully plotted story with a perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and a steamy and swoon-worthy romance. Rebecca Jenshak, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Rebecca Jenshak could not have chosen a better cast to bring her characters and story to life. Aaron Shedlock and Desiree Ketchum are entertaining storytellers and versatile voice artists. There is a natural talent to them and I loved how they took each role, ran with it and made it their own. Shedlock played the Leo’s role with perfection, grasped every side of his personality including his swoon-worthy charm and lightheartedness, Ketchum did the same for Scarlett, playing her like the strong woman she is. You could hear how much heart these two put into their work as they capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance, and have you feeling every single one. Thank you for another fabulous listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your performance.
