Repetitive, preachy, and out of date

I'm not sure where all the five-star reviews came from. I really struggled to finish this book. It was preachy, pushy, relentlessly positive, and constantly referred to God making everything fine. It seemed to be very poorly edited, as there were a number of sections and citations repeated whole cloth. Audible lists the publication date as 2022, but it is clear from date references in the book that it was published in the 1990's, so much of the treatment and medication information is several decades out of date. The reader was maddeningly chipper and hyper, with frequent inconsistent and incorrect pronunciation of even common words.

Great resource for anyone with or anyone who knows someone with epilepsy

This book is a fantastic resource for anyone who has Epilepsy themselves or who wants to better understand someone they know who lives with Epilepsy. One of the most difficult things for someone with Epilepsy is simply explaining what life is like with the condition and this work does an excellent job doing just that. It makes someone with Epilepsy feel seen and heard and provides a wealth of information for friends and family.
