JA HUSS DOES IT AGAIN!
I JUST got involved with “romance” novels, like within the past 6 months and JA Huss was my first author to introduce to the world of romance and spice. But that’s not what Huss does exactly is it? After reading all that Audible has to offer from Huss and now a few other “romance” novelists, I can wholeheartedly state that J.A. Huss is a MASTERMIND. Out of all the novels I’ve listened too, she is the ONLY author that has me literally emotionally invested with her characters and stories. I can’t believe we’re not done with Sasha and company and I couldn’t be more thrilled to hear it! I’m SO EXCITED about book 3 in this series and as usual Huss DID NOT disappoint. The mind fuckery continues and it’s amazing! I’m absolutely inlove with Mackenzie’s performance as Wendy. I’m so excited for the final installments to this particular story! Cannot wait!

Couldn't stop listening! Julie reminds me of my wonderful, creative, artist son. The talent just spews out from a bottomless source. if you try to tell him what to paint you are missing out on his endless creativity. After listening to Julie's books and her "Book Shit" I see how blessed we are to enjoy their gifts. I love her characters and their stories.

Twisted! I love it
I am so glad that I started these books when they were all out except the last two…. I would have went crazy waiting! The thing about Julies books though…. She is fast and doesn’t make you wait forever!!! Thank you for that Mrs Huss! She also releases them on audio very quickly! Thank you and please don’t be done with this world! We still have most of the shrike kids and their kids!

Nick & Wendy with a little Merc on the side!
One of my favorite things about JA Huss books is by the end, I am typically stunned into silence, and the only word I can muster is.....
F*** !!!!
Seriously, she is the only author that I have read (or listened to) in the romance genre that has been able to throw that metaphorical curveball into her storylines, and I just do not see it coming! Curveball is perhaps a bit of an understatement. It's really more like a nuke exploding in front of you. Then left to watch, as the blast radius ripples out and blows apart everything you thought you knew about the entire story.
I'm so excited to FINALLY have Nick Tate and Wendy's story! These characters play roles in so many other "company" books. So for them to have their own leading role is fantastic. I am assuming it is going to be continued in the next book.
I also love that Merc (from "See you in the Dark") is back! He's been so very twisted in other books. So to see him get twisted, it's more than amusing!
This book did not disappoint!
Performance was awesome. Hathaway Lee (Wendy) has become one of favorite female narrators. Joe Arden (Nick) and Troy Duran (Merc), as always, did a fantastic job!

What just happened?!?!
I actually finished this book 2 days ago and had to wait to write this review. I read the audio version because I love making the characters come to life (but really, Merc has THE SEXIEST VOICE!).
The book left me stunned. I was literally talking to myself in the car on my way to work. What just happened?! Nick? Adam? No freaking way!! I’m not sure how I’ll hold on until book four is released.
I am truly glad for Nick and Wendy but their story is not done. No doubt there will be more revealed in book four. NO DOUBT!
JA Huss? You are an evil mastermind when plotting your stories. They’re delicious and 🔥 and crazy and WTF and twisted and leave me wanting so much more. I’m an addict to your words.
