Publisher's Summary

When Grace @FilthyBlueBird tweeted her dirtiest, most delicious secret desires to MovieStar @VaughnAsher she never expected a reply, let alone a face-to-face meeting and an offer of a lifetime.

And when MovieStar @VaughnAsher figured out the woman vacationing at his family’s St. Thomas resort was the author of all those dirty hashtags a fan was relentlessly tweeting at him...well that was a challenge he couldn’t pass up. He was more than happy to #RockHerFilthyWorld.

@FilthyBlueBird’s online fantasy is about to collide with her real-life reality.

And it’s about to happen now.

Tiny problem for Grace.@VaughnAsher might be hot and sexy on the outside, but his domineering, over-the-top alpha attitude is seriously ugly. Let's just call him...#NotPrinceCharming.

Still, Vaughn is persistent. Grace is mysterious, and funny, and she’s got fight to her. Her rejection makes him want her more. And everyone knows that what Vaughn Asher wants, Vaughn Asher gets.

But Grace's rejection triggers a new side to Vaughn. And when he suddenly realizes that he wants to change to make her happy, the whole world is suddenly trying to pull them apart.

GOOD STORY

This was a good book to listen to. It would have been better with a different male reader. I almost quit listening to it because his voice just almost ruined it for me.

So good! What a rollercoaster!

This is actually all 6 books in the Social Media series in one 20hr and 44min listen.
Follow - OMG so hot! 🥵 He's a hot dom and she's a fiesty brat with strong opinions. I get the feeling she has a past. #masterandhisgirl
Like - All I can say is Grace should have expected retaliation lol. I love how flirty these two are with their tweets!
Block - Vaughn is relentless! ❤ Break her walls down! Wait. What about her past!? 🤯
Status - We find out Grace's secret past. 😰 Poor Grace! I want to hug her! I love how Huss writes their conversations because they're realistic and true to their characters.
Profile - Haha! What happens in Vegas baby! This installment started out on a hot note then got very dark real fast. 😬😰 Vaughn IS her prince, whether she wants to believe it or not.
Home - We all need a Vaughn Asher, not just to save us when we're in over our heads but to call us out on our bs with facts and love when we're staying under. Also, 😏 hot sexy dom play would be very nice too. This was a very satisfying end to their story. ❤
I LOVE this series, but ffs what a rollercoaster!
Both narrators are new to me: Autumn did well and Mark is a new rabbit hole I want to dive into head first. 😏 Too bad he doesn't have many romance books under his belt. 😔

Make lead narrator wasn’t convincing.

I liked this book overall. The narrators were slightly off. The male lead wasn’t convincing as an alpha male, and was a bit creepy. The female did a great job except when reading the male voice. She made him sound like a serial killer. It’s weird how narration can totally change the written story. It changes the tone and believability. I love JA Huss the absolute most as an author. The narration ruined it for me.

Just keep thinking about the model on the cover

I’d like to start by saying that I enjoyed this story, emphasis on the word story. I’m a big JA Huss fan and I love her writing style. This book is hot without sacrificing the plot.
That being said I’d recommend getting the non audio version of this book. I didn’t listen to the sample before I bought the book and I regret not doing so. The male narration was damn near unbearable. It sounded like Father Time was dry fucking my ear hole. There were times that I laughed out loud during the sex scenes because it sounded like someone’s pappy was getting down and dirty with light BDSM. So to sum it up, good book bad narration.

Not Worth the Credit

I’m vested so I need to know what happens but if I make it to the end, I’ll be returning this book. It really should’ve been included in Premium.
First, narrators’ voices as themselves are just ok. However, their interpretations of their opposites are TERRIBLE-particularly MH’s interpretation of Grace.
Second, the constant use of sound effects (i.e., tweets, computer key strokes, especially the dream effects when Grace is taken back to her childhood) is so annoying!
Third, this story almost started out like it could’ve been a humorous love story that develops on social media. That’s not what it is. It takes a dark and mysterious turn, but the mystery didn’t really grip me till around chapter 30. Way too long!
Last and most importantly, I’ll be more careful not to choose bdsm stories. While I believe in live and let live, and some kinks are fun, I also believe that if love is love is love, then pain is pain is pain and abuse is abuse is abuse.
And since so many authors address matters of abuse and social/gender inequality, why is it ok to glorify a practice that brings pain and humiliation to women, even if she “likes it”? What is the difference between the woman who is hurt against her will and stays, and the woman who because of some childhood trauma (because that’s what most of these books are about) “needs” the domination and pain?
What’s the difference between the man who inflicts pain and humiliation against her will or the one who inflicts it with consent? They both get sadistic pleasure by inflicting pain and abuse of some sort.

Male narrator

Love JA Huss and her stories never disappoint, but the male narrator did not fit the role and took away from the book for me. Loved that the entire series was in one purchase though!

Adjust the narration speed and you’ll love it.

Many reviews complained about the narration but I love JA Huss stories so I gave it a chance. When the make narrated I sped the narration up to 1.2. For the female, slowed it to 0.9. It made for a perfect listen. Was it a pain? Yes. But the boxed set story was so worth it. The climax of the last book felt a little rushed, but still worked. Love that lo the books were available together for one credit.

Noooooo!

I’m a long time fan of J A Huss. Her books when read out to me are the ultimate escape! The female voice on this was so annoying and abrupt every time I could not finish this book. The male voice was too old and slow. He needs to be reading bedtime stories, and should come with a warning to not operate heavy machinery while listening. Epic failure.

Great story! Not a great performance by male reader

The male reader sounded like an old man not a hot young movie star. Ruined the story for me.

Loved the snook so much!…

….. buttttt Mark Kamish was the completely wrong narrator for Vaughn Asher! In my head all I could picture was a 50 year old man with dentures that wouldn’t stick all the way! It was so hard to get past his voice!
