Highly recommended!!!

This book breaks it all down into manageable steps that can really make a difference in our lives.I highly recommend this book as a guide to help you and/or your child learn how to identify, understand and manage anxiety. I recommend this to all my patients!!

Powerful book on the biology and treatment of anxiety disorders. This profound book should be given to all sufferers of that disability as there are techniques to help everyone. Teaches you practical tips for what to do and what not to do in order to realistically measure your anxiety. highly recommend!!!

Anxiety!!!

I knew I was feeling typical mom stress and that I tend to be a bit of a worry wart, but I didn't realize just how much anxiety I carry around until I read this book. WOW.Bought this for a family member. She loved it as it helps her through some of her most trying days and gives her helpful coping skills.

I received this book at just the right time.

This book really helped me, help my daughter work on her social anxiety and other related anxieties . It’s clear and easy to follow approach made it easy to work with.This is a relatively short book that still manages to be very thorough. It's organized very well and provides great, concrete examples to really illustrate the concepts that are addressed.

Great resource for parents!!!

This is a really practical and extremely useful book which I highly recommend. The advice is easy to understand, clear and straight to the point.I bought this book for the parent of a teenager who's had panic attacks, but read it first and found it very readable and helpful!!

Great for someone with Anxiety!!

This is an awesome self help book! It's helping me reduce my anxiety and depression. I do a chapter a week. It has exercises in the book to write down thoughts and feelings that you are dealing with. I recommend this book to anyone!!!

Great Book!!!

Great book. Highly recommended. You need to put in the work though. You cannot just stay home and expect to feel better.This is a must have if you have social anxiety. A lot of what is covered in the book reflects how I and I'm sure many people really feel.

I am only halfway through this book and it has already helped me tremendously. If you suffer from social anxiety I highly recommend this book.The books helps you acknowledge that you have a problem and what the strategy is to fix it. It helps me stop pretending that everything is fine. It makes you want to stop waiting and take action!!!

easy to apply techniques!!

Looks good so far and lots of info. I tend to put books down that don't grab my interest right away but I will read this one.This book helps you to understand and take action when it comes to unwanted negative thoughts and feelings. I love the "Chapter Summary and Homework" sections because they turn each topic into steps you work on right away.

I take this book and get many facilities information about Anxiety. When I purchase this guide then I knowing Brain Using Neuroscience to Free Myself. Excellent content here this book about Anxiety. a wonderful book!

I wish I would have read this book years ago! This book helped me have a much better understanding of panic and anxiety disorders. It has literally been a life changer for me. I believe, this book , along with a couple of others, has helped me manage and prevent episodes without the use of medication This is a great book! Even if you don't think you don't suffer from anxiety it gives great coping skills for multiple life situations. The best was helping to get rid of the "guilt" factor. I applaud the author for making this information so understandable and relatable to so many life experiences.

This book fills an important niche.

"Anxiety Happens" is a must listen for anyone suffering from anxiety or that works in a profession working with people with anxiety. I am so excited about this easy-to-listen comprehensive little book. I would love to own a box full of copies of this little book and give them out to friends, colleagues, patients and all the people I know or ever meet that struggle with anxiety. Purchased the 52 ways to support my clients who come to me eager for anxiety relief. They love this little book and the simple, accessible practices. I also use the 55 ways and have incorporated many of the practices into my own anxiety self-care. What an awesome book. It changed my life!.

After reading my copy of From Anxiety to Love, written by Lily Allan , I can say that I highly recommend this listen. As I moved through the pages, I could identify with many of the stressors Corrine pointed out, but was happy to find that her recommendations for dealing with stress and anxiety can be readily implemented into our daily lives. The contents of this book are for the layman as well as the professional. I see it as a personal handbook that I can access when I've moved toward anxiety-stress on the wellness continuum. I'm a fellow teacher and long-time student of A Course in Miracles and Director of CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing), the Course in Miracles center in New York City. Lily Allan tend to be very busy people. The city has a lot to offer and the people who come here tend to work really hard and be very active.

An excellent tool to help manage your anxiety!

I knew I was feeling typical mom stress and that I tend to be a bit of a worry wart, but I didn't realize just how much anxiety I carry around until I read this book. WOW. I can relate to so many of the personal stories and feelings described in the book. I also realized that many of the physical symptoms I regularly experience are probably related to the anxiety. I think this is written and designed very well and am enjoying using it. I’m not doing it the in 7 week time frame but it’s still helpful in many ways. Bought this for a family member. She loved it as it helps her through some of her most trying days and gives her helpful coping skills.

This book is great for self discovery

I could not be more ecstatic then I am right now! I have only begun to listen this book, attempting to heal, already giving it 5 stars, specifically for one reason. The book focuses on practice, strategy and developing behaviors to manage anxiety. It's not just about shoving a pill down your throat. I have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety, bipolar disorder I can honestly say that anxiety falls even with Bipolar regarding how disruptive it can be in your life. This book is great for self discovery. I knew I was feeling typical mom stress and that I tend to be a bit of a worry wart, but I didn't realize just how much anxiety I carry around until I listen this book. WOW.

From a young age I suffered from constant anxiety. Looking for information about this, I found this set of books. Books by Lily Allan s gave me an understanding of what might be the cause of my psychological problem. This book will give you the tools that you need to help yourself or to help someone you care about to reach out and take control of their anxiety, instead of allowing it to control the person. This guide is easy to follow

I found this book truly inspiring and helpful. Lily Allan writes an easy to follow self help guide to mastering the benefits of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The idea behind CBT is that you can change your thoughts and therefore improve your reaction to emotions that you cannot change in situations, helping you with anxiety, stress, and depression to name a few. The book is, like I said before, set up for you to do entirely yourself. Concise. No wasted words, straight to the point, full, rich and most of all interesting.Most wonder full is the embrace of religion, spirituality and philosophy as a practice in cognitive behavioral therapy.

Required listen for Leaders

Most leadership books I've found to have nothing useful and are just common knowledge, taken from other writers, seem like the writer has never actually led or managed anyone, or are just complete idiot bunk trying to make the work force a happy place where nothing seems to get done anymore as we're supposed to be everyone's friend. This book is the absolute exception. Excellent book. This version contains a lot of revised content over the earlier editions. This book is so insightful and helpful for professional and personal development.

Disappointing

Terrible narrator, she kept repeating words and phrases, definitely not good at reading. Couldn't finish it and most of what I heard I already knew.
