The compassionate knowledge shared in this book will help many deal with anxiety issues. The format of the book is actually a workbook that involves readers in their own healing by posing questions and giving time and space for personal reflection.This book is more about anxiety than yoga, but a wonderful blend of the two. As an innovate book, it ranks at the top. It presents clinical information in a readable way, as well as stories about ordinary people using the techniques.

Informative and Worthwhile!!

This book offers some of the best solutions I have ever read for dealing with anxiety. I like the heart math approach and don't care if it t is considered scientific or not. It works if you work it. As with all techniques it is absolutely necessary to practice.I recommend this book to all of my clients who are looking to find simple ways to practice mindfulness based stress reduction.

worth the price and more!!

This was a great workbook! All of the concepts are laid out in a clean and concise manner so any layman would be able to follow along. The exercises are not too daunting but also not too simple.Anyone can benefit from this book, even if they don't feel they have anxiety, depression, or addiction issues. It is broken up in sections so you can easily focus on one topic more than the others if you prefer.

Really love this book!!!!!

An wonderful book! It starts with an honest description of Mark own experience with anxiety and moves into a targeted, constructive plan to battle your own anxiety. This book is absolutely fantastic!! Its definitively a page turner while learning something new and interesting with each chapter. I would recommend this book to anyone who suffers from anxiety or to someone who wants to educate themselves on the topic.

This book will change your life!!!!

What an eye opener! This method started to work for me even before finishing the book. I have read many books but this one addresses the constant mind chatter which makes life so stressful.This book teaches you how to breathe correctly and quiet your mind. I believe this book will help many people if they practice each day the ideas presented in this book.This is a wonderful book. I am amazed at the quick response my body had to the change in breathing. The first night I felt so much better.

wonderful book!!

This book really taught me how to deal with my anxiety. Every time one comes on now, I just think to myself hat this is just adrenaline going through my body.I found this book very educational when it comes to brain functionality using neuroscience. Very helpful advice in an easy to understand format. It is one of the better but there is very helpful chapter specifically. A very learning content. Providing proven tips and steps. Author give full stuff for making this book helpful.

This is an amazing self-help book!!!

This workbook gives great insight into how to overcome anxiety and shyness in any social situation.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has social fears or anxiety. This extremely well written book covers many tools that are useful in the understanding of your anxiety. The exercises outlined by the authors are described very clearly which helped me work through them efficiently and effectively!!!

Life changing!!!

This book was a major tool helping someone I know with their anxiety. It gave many helpful tips and you can refer to whatever section you need help with the most.Not only did the other take the approach of explaining anxiety on a level for someone who might not have anxiety, he made it very easy to relate to the pressure and social aspect of anxiety. I would recommend this book for people who have loved ones dealing with anxiety. I think they would get a better understanding of what people deal with on a daily basis.

This book will change your life!!

I work in the field of mental health and found this book to be a very useful tool. I have experienced anxiety and even panic attacks in the past so the book made sense to me. I think it's very important for people to learn about treatment options but they should also understand that they may need professional help. The basis of this workbook is CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and it is done in a group where I work. Along with social contact, comes anxiety and stress. Over the years, I have tried to help with understanding and the coping skills of everyday events. I recieved a copy of this book from the publisher with welcome, as any new ideas are certainly worth looking into.

Easy listen with helpful tips

Anxiety or not this book is worth the read. I read this and as I went along it made me see myself and how I can improve the person I am. Well worth to spend a couple of hours (and dollars) on yourself with the help of this insightful book. This book is very helpful, very easy to read. I appreciate the writing style, feels like you are just having a conversation, makes it easy to follow. I’m sure this book will be a great help to many people! This is an honest, and insightful look at anxiety. Helpful and useful book.

This is a really useful and interesting book. The possibilities of our brain are endless and we can learn to manage it. Well written about how to get rid of old habits, how to start thinking positively and what you should do for this. This is especially important if anxiety, A book on great advice or how to reduce anxiety. As a person who suffers from anxiety, I find this book to be really helpful to me.It is also a workbook so it gives you activities that you can do to relieve anxiety. This book takes a unique look at the relationship between anxiety and grief. Though it manly focuses on grief over a death, it certainly extends beyond that. It offers much food for thought and fresh perspectives.

Best book to give as a gift.

Very informational book it actually opened my eyes I found out a lot of something I was never aware of in regard to the one major cause of the anxiety in a modern society and its natural treatment. I love the Authors style of being honest and vulnerable in his writings! His stories draw you in, are so relatable! The book serves as a practical assist with life’s challenges and allowing you to love yourself. his book is great for self discovery. Four stars only because I was hoping to learn a skill set to combat anxiety but have found this is more of a book to learn about myself. I do enjoy it and have partnered it with professional help. This book gives you step by step instructions which are very useful, explains things in a very clear and gentle way, and also helps out with visual cues. I think this is a great book for those trying to overcome their anxiety.
