Publisher's summary

Four years ago, I lost my virginity on live, streaming television. Too bad I wasn’t awake for it.

The video went viral. Of course it would. A senator’s daughter on camera? Wouldn’t you click “Share”? Besides, that’s what three of the four guys in the video did. Share. They shared me.

But that fourth guy? The nondescript one in the background in the upper left corner of the screen, just sitting on the couch? The only one who did nothing? Not one single thing. That was my boyfriend, Drew. And that was the last time I saw him.

Until today, when my father - now on a path to the White House - hired him as head of security for my new team as I return home after four years of “recovering” in an undisclosed location that involved white lab coats, needles, pills, and damage control.

You see, the other three guys never went to jail. Never had charges pressed. Never faced consequences. Until today. Game on.

A Harmless Little Game is the first in this political thriller/romantic suspense trilogy by USA Today best-selling author Meli Raine.

Sex, Lies and Video bk 1

Senator's daughter Lindsay Bosworth lost her virginity and dignity to a violent gang rape that was posted on the internet. 4 years later she's leaving a mental institution and has a goal and new plans for her life. Revenge.

Now Senator Bosworth wants to run for President and his team wants the old obedient Lindsay to stand on stage by her father. Unfortunately, the guys that created this heinous act for the world to view were never caught or charged, but they are back now that Lindsay has returned, making everyone doubt her and her sanity which only frustrates her more.

Andi Arndt does a fantastic job in narrating this political game of sex, lies and video

Argh!

I can't stand it! I cannot put this book down but unfortunately I cannot spend all day and all night listening to it.this story had me in its grips from the beginning. I don't even think I'm halfway done but I have no desire to do anything but sit and listen to this.it makes me want to cry, it makes me want to laugh and the thought of what this girl went through breaks my heart. do not pass the story up!

Wild

What a complete rollercoaster. You have to suspend quite a bit of reality for this story but I'm definitely looking forward to what comes next in this trilogy. As always Andi Arndt did an amazing job narrating!!

Nice Book

I liked this book overall although hate it when the author takes one story and breaks into three books to sell more. This is really just the first third of the story written from the female's point of view. I liked the story but there were times when Lindsey made me roll and my eyes and scream about too stupid to live characters. There are a lot triggers in this book for those who are sensitive to that stuff. Tons of communication issues because that seems to be what the story hinged on - characters making bad assumptions and keeping things from each other which creates drama. Not bad but a bit weird.

Great Story

This is a great short story. It has definitely peaked my interest and I can't wait to see were this journey takes the two leads. I'm skeptical about several of the characters and I'm not sure who Lindsey can trust. Not sure how 3 guys get away with doing what they did to a Senator's daughter. Andi Arndt is great as always.

Seductive and chilling

Full of surprises. Full of pain and betrayal. Dark.

Four years of pain and questions all coming into the light. The truth isn't at all what she expected and nothing that he was able to shed any light on.

Provocative and dangerous.

The narrator is perfect for this series, she brings the book to life in vivid detail.
