Publisher's Summary

I wanted to fall for a man. Instead, I fell for a legend...

Jax and Haley’s addictive, emotional rockstar romance trilogy is in one place for the first time! Books 1 and 2 contain cliffhangers that build to book 3’s explosive, unmissable HEA. Immerse yourself in smoldering tension and enthralling romance that promise to leave you “dazed and a little crazed”.

Good Girl (Wicked Number 1):

I wanted to fall for a man. Instead, I fell for a legend...

The month I wrote my first piece of code, Jax Jamieson launched his third platinum album.

The week I drank my first beer, he spent in jail.

The day I got under his skin, I wound up on his tour.

And the night he gave me his hoodie...I fell in love forever.

Bad Girl (Wicked Number 2):

Rockstars don't chase college students.

But Jax Jamieson’s never followed the rules.

I thought I knew Jax's secrets. I was wrong.

When the fans go home and the lights fade to black, it's just me and him and the people we left behind.

I want to escape, until I realize...

We can do a lot in the dark.

Wicked Girl (Wicked Number 3):

He was a legend, until he walked away.

I was nobody, until I was dragged into the light.

I was never supposed to be part of Wicked, but it was always part of me.

Now it's my turn to do something that matters.

Even if the man I love hates me for it.

Jax and Haley’s all-consuming, smoldering, emotional, slow burn love story has sold more than 100,000 copies and “takes rock star romance to a whole new level”. Binge listen the complete Wicked trilogy now!

Had potential....

This could easily have been 1 book. I didn't finish because it just went on too long. Surely this issue could have been solved in editing, taking out the filler and leaving the substance. But we wouldn't buy all the books then would we? lol

Slow-burning rockstar romance with all the feels!

I just binged listened to this series, and it’s so good!

These three books are intense, slow burning rock star romance between an eager, somewhat innocent young college student, and a hot rock star. With some angst, drama and a second-chance element, this series has it all, and I loved it!

Haley and Jax!

This collection follows the story of Haley, a woman who is more comfortable with computers, and Jax, a Rockstar who is so much more than his image.

Haley has a painful past which has required that she grow up and become independent earlier than most. She is putting herself through college and needs the internship she was offered and that means not getting personally involved with Jax. Jax is a successful musician who has overcome a painful past of his own. This tour needs to be a success so staying away from Haley is crucial as the consequences if he doesn’t could end both their careers.

Their brains know what they should do but their hearts haven’t got the message which leads them on a journey filled with heat, humor and heart. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought the narrators did a great job at allowing the emotion of the story to flow and keep you invested until the end.

Sweet, funny, a little bit steamy...

In this trilogy we follow the love story between the twenty-eight-year-old multi-platinum rockstar Jax Jamieson and the twenty-year-old college student and coding wiz Haley Telfer. Haley was broke and couldn’t afford the next school year’s tuition when she surprisingly lands an internship with Wicked Records. There she meets Jax. They start off on the wrong foot, but they eventually find themselves in a slow-burn romance when Haley gets reassigned and is sent off to tour with Jax’s band.

Wicked is sweet, funny, a little bit steamy, and a little bit dramatic with some snark thrown in. One thing I like about this is that, since this is a box set, there are no interruptions! There were questions that were left unanswered from book to book and then answered later on in the series.

Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood did an excellent job narrating.

Wicked is a slow-burn, new adult rockstar romance written in dual first-person POV and was done in dual narration. It’s a standalone that ends with an HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.

I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Four-starred rock star trilogy

It's been about two years since I last read something from Piper Lawson--NSWF, the second book in her Play trilogy--so I welcomed the opportunity to not just re-acquaint myself with her writing but to listen to my very first audiobook from her, and it's a trilogy to boot! The Wicked audiobook consists of the first three stories in that series by the same name--Good Girl, Bad Girl, and Wicked Girl--and it's about one couple, a twenty-year-old college student and a twenty-eight-year-old rock star, whose lives become entangled in ways neither had ever planned for.

Good Girl is where we meet the cast of characters led by Haley Telfer and Jax Jamieson. She's a student who's co-op program requires her to find a job, and he's the lead singer of Riot Act and her celebrity crush. They end up working together when Haley is tasked to back up the sound engineer on Riot Act's latest tour. Haley and Jax clash, but there's an underlying attraction going on. Bad Girl picks up after Haley walks away from Jax once she learns the secret he's kept from her; Wicked Girl is two years after Jax decides Haley has chosen the man he hates over him.

In terms of the Haley and Jax's story as a whole, I did like the dynamic between them, especially once what they had transcended from Haley mooning over the fact that the man she's been crushing on for years is in such close proximity and may very well have a thing for her, too. One thing I didn't particularly like, however, was how it seemed Haley used sex to...entice Jax to do something. On the other hand, Jax had a bad habit of walking away when things didn't go his way rather than having a discussion and finding alternatives or coming to a compromise.

Story-wise, Good Girl gets 3.5 stars, Bad Girl gets three stars, and Wicked Girl gets four stars. Piper Lawson does an admirable job keeping Jax and Haley's romance going over the span of three books, although the middle--aka book two--section falters a bit. Haley's issues with her estranged father and Jax's own situation with parenthood were my favorite aspects of the story because they're more heartrending. Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood perform well over the twelve and a half hours. With 4.5 stars for narration and 3.5 stars for the story, Wicked gets four stars. ♥

Loved!

I loved this so much! The narrators really brought the story to life. Their voices, inflections, and acting was great. I was able to get into the story and feel everything. Jax and Haley's story was phenomenal with the narration. The story flowed so well and the chemistry between them was out of this world. I had a hard time being able to stop listening.

Love Jax and Haley

OMG, Jax and Haley were so great. Joe and Savannah were so good as Jax and Haley. They really brought the characters to life. The chemistry and attraction between Jax and Haley was off the charts hot. I loved being able to listen to their story. You are able to watch their relationship grow and experience all the ups and down they will have in each book until you hit book 3 when it all comes to a very satisfying end. You will not be disappointed when you are finished with this set, Well that is actually not true, you will be disappointed because their story is over. I can’t wait for Annie and Tyler’s story.

Book one was my fav

I was sent this book from the publisher/publicity team. My ratings and reviews will be my own personal opinions and are in no way influenced by publishers or authors who may have sent me books to review. I am going to start off by saying I am not normally a fan of rock band/music group romances. I just never feel there is anything that sets them apart. This series sounded really good though, so I decided to give it a chance. I am glad I did. Just an FYI, Audible has the bind-up of the series all in one, so you can get all three for only one credit! Book one was really building the world and characters. I really liked getting to know both Jax and Haley. It really starts to build on their relationship as well which is a slow burn romance. I really loved that and also the age gap they are dealing with. There was enough other things going on with them and in the background to keep you wanting more. (4 stars) Book two was a little lacking for me. I was looking for more as I just do not feel much happens. This one is much steamier than book one as Jax and Haley do take their relationship to the next level. I do not recommend reading this one unless you have read book one in the series. The story is a continuation with the same characters and I think book one really sets up this story. I really did love the Jax and Annie parts of this story. It was pretty predictable, but did bring some emotional parts to the story. There was almost more around Annie and Jax than Jax and Haley. Something happens towards the end and also the end of the story that comes out of nowhere. I do not feel it even really fit on how it all happened. I see what the author was doing, but I would have liked some bits of these character thrown into book two to bring a little more emotion to all of this. These things come out of nowhere and did not really flow with everything going on. It just seems thrown in to bring emotional moments to the story. They did not work for me. (2.5) Book three starts of two years after the ending of book two. I do feel that books two and three could have been combined into one. Book three was pretty short at only 200 pages. I did not realize this was a novella until I looked at some other reviews. This cannot be read as a standalone as it is a continuation of the Jax and Haley love story. I liked this one much more than book two. I liked seeing Haley and Jax coming back together after a few years ago. My biggest thing with this series is the holes within the story. There are several time jumps between the books, and also things that happen with no explanation or without any build up. I wanted more around these aspects of the story. Overall, this was still a fun series if you love music/band romances. I really loved Jax. Book one was my favorite, but I liked following their story in books two and three.

Age Gap Rockstar Romance Series

I listened to this trilogy on audiobook and loved every bit of it. I completely became submerged in Haley and Jax’s story.

From book 1 to book 3 both characters change so much. We go from having a age gap rockstar romance in book 1 to a contemporary office romance in book 3.

This story is so fun because we can all relate to the the rockstar or celebrity in our youth that we had a crush on and Haley and Jax’s story plays beautifully on that.

An Amazing Series Jam-Packed With Feels

This is an amazing series and this is the perfect way to get the complete series all at once and in one convenient volume. I really enjoyed Jax and Haley story. I found this to be a very beautiful slow burn romance, rich with emotion, sweetness, tension, drama, humor, clever banter, angst and simmering, steamy chemistry. Prepare yourself to go on one epic roller coaster ride of feels as this engaging story unfolds and this couple's relationship evolves. So Good!! A definite five star, not to be missed series. The audiobook offers dual narration, which in my opinion is always a plus. Mr. Arden and Ms. Peachwood do a stellar job in pulling you into this story and really connecting with these characters.

A Perfect Rockstar Romance

What a fantastic series, three books wrapped up in one audiobook! I love a bargain, and all 3 books together, a complete bargain, and believe me, once you start on book 1, Good Girl, you will want to read through to book 3 Wicked Girl.
Good Girl follows super sexy, bad boy, rock star, Jax Jamieson (who actually has a heart of gold), and the wonderful yet innocent Haley Telfer, a graduate intern and computer super geek, who by pure fluke ends up touring with Jax and his band ‘Riot Act’, helping Jerry the sound engineer. Remember tour rule number 3 though. Thou shalt not fraternise with the crew or with the artists! Book 2 sees the relationship between Jax and Haley developing, along with Jax’s pigheadedness. This leads us directly to book 3 which really is the icing on the cake. As much as I adored Jax and Haley, they both are, extremely stubborn. Add in a few curveballs, and I had no idea where the story would end up. Great characters and a wonderfully addictive storyline. I loved it.
A note about the narrators, Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood. Both of them are go to narrators for me. I love them, they always nail their characters to perfection, and the Wicked series is no different. They are the perfect Jax and Hayley.
