Ugh….

I hate the nonsensical control. It’s just so stupid. I have whiplash from all the ridiculous mixed methods of control. Give me a plot, a story, and something with substance. Thumbs down and a hard pass.

Blakely and Riggs

This was a pretty good book. Blakley and Riggs meet again after many years when she is kidnapped to be taken to her father. She escapes and runs into Club Indulgence and is mistaken for one of the girls to be auctioned. Riggs sees her and bids on her. Instead of one month, he wants her for one year. Blakely's father is horrible since he is the one who orchestrated her kidnapping. Riggs does not have the best intentions with Blakely because of her father, who is Riggs' business associate. Also, Riggs could be a real @ss. I am looking forward to listening to The Vow even though, to me, this is not as good as some of Ms. Cole's other books. Connor Crais and Ava Lucas did a great job with the narration.

This book was absolutely crazy, no plot or story line. I love Maggie Cole but this book was all over the place, did not like it at all. Can I get my credit back???

This is one amazing listen. Connor and Ava bring a life to Riggs and Blakely that will blow you away. The Auction has it all from the very beginning. The push and pull, the love and hate, and the Dom/sub will leave you breathless and wanting more, you can't help but feel it all with them both. This ends on a cliffhanger, so be prepared.
Thank you Ms Cole for sharing your amazing talent and giving us characters we want to love.

Great story, great plot, action and overall just great

I liked the story, the action, the plot, I couldn’t predict this one and that says a lot. Totally recommend, I’m off to book 2.

Love the story. But the MC's... had some major issues /hang ups. They were totally complete opposites! I believe I may have gotten dizzy with as their relationship became a ridiculous vicious circle of over thought & underthings(thinking) of and about each other .They both were so Silly crazy I'm Love.
😂 I was compelled to listen to book 2 The Vow. Nice Story and great Narrator's! 😘

Intense story line, excellent narrators! I listened to this book in two days. If you love dark romance with BDSM in the mix, you will love this!

Wow!

Another hit from Maggie Cole! The story was great! The characters are amazing! Blakely tries to escape her father and she ends up in Riggs arms. Ironically it's where she always wanted to be.
The narration is wonderful and the actors definitely bring the story to life! They have great chemistry together!

I'm a big fan of maggie's books, she pulls you in with great characters, a fantastic well written storyline and phenomenal choice in narrator's for her books who always give us a truly exceptional performance and this book delivers in spades. it's so good I'm going straight to the second book, even though its almost 1am!

Loved this book when I read it and it was even better brought to life with great narration!!!!!
The story is amazing and sexy and has you on the edge of your seat in parts.
It ends on a cliffhanger and leaves you wanting so much more

Forbidden Love Age-Gap Billionaire Romance

The Auction by Maggie Cole is a forbidden love age-gap billionaire romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Connor Crais and Ava Lucas. This is the first book in the Club Indulgence Duet.

I absolutely love Maggie's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I loved the chemistry between Riggs and Blakely. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series The Vow to be released on audio so I can get more of their story.

Connor and Ava did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like billionaire romances, dark romances, age-gap romances, forbidden romances, or forced proximity romances.

Another excellent age gap, forbidden, dark romance from Maggie Cole which was brought to life by the ever talented Connor Crais and Ava Lucas.


Riggs and Blakely's father have been successful business partners for years, that is until Riggs realises Blakely's father has been stealing money from the company.  Riggs starts to plan his revenge which is given an unexpected boost when Blakely accidentally finds herself on the stage at a charity auction.  Riggs has always been intrigued with Blakely and decides to bid for her for a year instead of the usual month - is this because of his need for revenge or a thirst for something else?


Blakely is a loveable, strong-willed young woman, who left behind her family and their problems, to live independently and pursue her passion.  Blakely finds herself at the Auction whilst trying to escape her fathers men who had been chasing her.  What could be worse, being auctioned off, or being returned to her father?   Blakely decides the auction is the best option, despite being totally clueless about subs and doms, plus a lot of other terms in the contract. 


What follows is a rollercoaster of an emotional ride, with Riggs trying to train his new, defiant, sub and getting the balance of 'playtime' and life correct whilst still working on the ultimate revenge on Blakely's father.  In true Maggie Cole style, there are some very hot scenes, some 'what are you actually doing Rigg's' questions, heart gripping and heart breaking moments and well, what a cliffhanger!  I cannot wait to listen to the final part of this amazing duet.

Amazing!

I was reading the ebook but when I realised the audiobook was out I rushed to buy it. Love love love this book it’s my first from Maggie Cole and it won’t be my last. Riggs is everything but I can’t help want to slap him for what he did to Blakely it’s going to take a lot to redeem himself so I’m off to read The Vow now as it’s not out on audio yet .

Sheer Perfection

I finished reading as well as listening to “The Auction” and I took sometime to comprehend my thoughts. Its safe to say I am awed.... Its not anything I was even remotely expecting. It surpasses all the benchmarks I had earlier even for books having BDSM components. It is a concoction of powerful passion, beauty, understanding, compassion, love, and devotion. There is this strength of loyalty as you peel back each layer. I can go on and on but I guess the reader/ listener should internalize this by oneself.

I have always been in love with the voice of this specific duo wonderful narrators. There is no doubt that this was another addition to each one of their long lists of wins. They were brilliant and brought out the characters impeccably. The depth and passion in the voice of Connor Crais matched that of Ava Lucas, in ways, I cannot express.

Thanks to the whole team , kudos to Maggie Cole and the narrators for bringing out this presentation for us. It was not just a story, but an experience. I cannot wait for the second part!!
