This audio-book is to teach not just Diabetics, but people without how to cut your insulin levels. The writer shows that insulin levels play a major roll in belly fat, and how you can Naturally cure insulin resistance. I think this audio-book is helpful, especially when it comes to losing belly fat, because it is the hardest fat to lose. The audio-book also makes you aware of the fact that when people have insulin resistance, glucose builds up in the blood instead of being absorbed by the cells, and this leads to type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes. That is very important knowledge, and it's nice to have a book telling you so, and what to do about it. I learned a lot from this audio-book, especially since Diabetes runs in my family and I have problems with my blood sugar already. Some people can actually have their lives saved by this audio-book. I think it is an important and good listen.

Helpful when you don't know much about foods.

I have never been able to understand about carbohydrates, proteins or any other classification that the food has, I only now how to make a difference between what is healthy and what is not. This audio-book was pretty informative and it help me understand better what exactly insulin resistance is and give me ideas of foods that are good for the body when you have this condition. In my case it help me got ideas of what to cook for my sister to help her stay healthy. I think that this audio-book should be read carefully so you can take the most of it.

Absolutely enjoyed this audio-book. Simple and easy listen and follow not full of scientific garbage that bores me and don't understand and won't remember. Tomorrow I'm starting your 12 habits. Down loaded your gift and anxious to listen it, however will have to wait until tomorrow - I just listen I need my sleep.

Old outdated information

I am shocked that Audible keeps this book available for download. The book contains some good information but the bulk of it is outdated advice such as avoiding saturated fat in the diet because it causes cardio vascular disease. It also recommends using seed and canola oil in the diet which are absolutely the worst inflammatory substances. I want to get my money back.
