Great book for dealing with a hurtful past!
his book dug deeper that I expected as most are surface type of solutions. It actually makes you think of all of the bad, but mostly good that may affected us in our past. I truly like the chapter on "respecting" your past as that actually makes us who we are today! Well done!

Very Inciteful!
If you want to improve your self-esteem and delve into the whys of who you are, this audiobook will be very helpful to you. I enjoyed the narrator's clear and comforting voice and the book reminded me of many steps that are helpful in your life's journey, such as journaling and researching your family history. Enough of Excuses!
I have learned from this book that instead of dwelling on the things that weigh us down and pointing fingers at our imperfect families for our mistakes, we should seek out knowledge for ourselves because we will find things that might change our lives for good. But, we should know that personal development is not the destination, but a means to the end. You miss when you don’t take action. If you take action and fail, you rise again. This book talked about grounding and stressed how it is one of the things that anyone really serious with mental discipline should engage in. The author made it known that grounding always differs from person to person. She made it clear that you can sharpen it with repetition and that, in most cases, you should start this in a quiet place. As you progress, you should focus on breathing. She made it known that whatever you are doing, you should have the right mindset. It would be best not to give up when you start because your seed will live after you. After all, it’s your legacy. There are lots of advice and encouraging words to keep one going when using this book. She said you should seek help if you have crises because seeking help is not a sign of weakness but strength. Overall, this book is a wealth of information and encouragement to anyone that wants to strengthen their mental health. I will recommend it.

Powerfully deep!
When my friend gave me this audiobook, I didn't know what to expect, and I was in for a pleasant surprise. This book is very deep and powerful. The author does an amazing job at implementing various tactics to take your life back and be in control. If you are interested in personal development, this is your book. The narrator was also a joy to listen to.
