Love this book

This book was really good and makes you believe in love! I enjoyed it way more than expected.

Excellent Narration!

This story was so full of angst & heartbreak, it took a toll. I just wanted the hits to stop already. Thank heavens for the strong family & friend supporting characters. The book did drag a bit, but I enjoyed it to the end.

The heartbreak conveyed by Jacob Morgan at times was so on point, I broke with him. Lila Winters portrayed a strong, loving if immature, Remy. Both narrators rate a 5 on this one.

Shane and Remy

Oh Emery Rose.. you are absolutely one of my new favorite authors!! I loved this book!! The narrators - LOVE! So listening to the audible version of this was perfection! This story was about 2 kids who met on the beach, a surfer and a girl who had moved around so many times in her young life, she was just trying to make the best of what life had dealt her. He realizes too late that she is under the legal age. When a bully in her school confronts her about their relationship, she is faced with a life altering decision. Absolute heartbreaking the things they have to go through. Emery writes the perfect amount of angst to have you shed tears, but then will totally reward you with the happy ending that these characters deserve. I can’t wait for my next Emery Rose read.

Again! ER Brings Me To Tears

I have to admit, as a longtime reader I'm jaded. I felt like I knew where this was going. The beginning feels a little slow.. but Oh My Lord, Remy and Shane (and Dylan and Jim) brought me to my knees. The narrators Jacob Morgan and Lila Winters bring this to the 10th Power!! Please feature them in your books again!! Beautiful Couple, Heartbreaking, Lovely Story!

Great story

Great book, great story, great narrating and bummed it’s over. Can’t wait for book 2

Shane and Remy

This one had all of the emotions. I felt so much pain for Shane and Remy and the struggles their relationship went through. It was heartbreaking that Remy tried to protect Shane in a way that hurt her so badly and ended up breaking them. This story was well written and the narrators did a wonderful job.

Really good!

Wow, what a great read. You will experience every emotion with this book. The narration was pretty good, Jacob Morgan is on of my favorites in the male narrator category. It was my first time listening to this female lead but she didn’t d bad at all. I would definitely recommend this book. Thanks

True love doesn’t die

The story is sad and tragic but there’s always a silver lining. I loved this story.

Almost…

She was too young, he was hooked before he realized that. Forlorn. She was inappropriately nosy. He had nothing but himself…oh and jealousy. With reason, I guess.

Crazy angsty, lots of trigger warnings needed, but that doesn’t bother me. Seriously written and I appreciate that. Lila’s narration was just a smidge too over-eager and that made it feel insincere. Jacob, superb yet brief.
