It was very distracting throughout the whole story that the narrator sounds like a 50-year-old woman yet the characters are supposed to be in their 20s.

Pretty good, worth the read
So far this is the best Renee Carlino book I've read. It's a love story but not at the expensive of the dignity or self worth of the characters.

remarkable
I loved the narration of this book, both the voice actor and the writers twist and turns. A beautiful story of just how much trauma bonds can attach to your very soul. I loved how she healed before she went to him. This book was well written, emotionally moving, dealt with hard topics, and still found a way to piece both characters back together.
