Thoroughly Enjoyable
I hadn’t heard of Lisa Patton, and I usually don’t listen to older books, but I am glad I did. This book was a great escape. It’s a light story that kept me engaged and I often laughed out loud. I couldn’t stop listening and wish there was more.

A different point of view
This Northern gal loves to escape to the South especially on a cold Winter's day. Whistlin' Dixie in a Nor'easter put a different twist on that for me. A Southern belle in Vermont. Trust me it's a cute story. You will easily fall in love with Leelee and her adorable daughters and friends. You will get a chuckle as you get to know the characters she encounters in Vermont. You will despise her husband, Baker; and root for Leelee as she finds her way to independence as she mends her broken heart.

Adorable characters in comedic situations
Who doesn't love a southern belle? Especially one who finds her independence as life throws her curve balls. With the help of lifelong friends, and some new ones made along the way, she learns to take charge and stand on her own two feet. Between the characters met and situations she gets into, I laughed out loud several times. The book had a satisfying ending while still leaving options for more shenanigans ahead.
