Good story. A lot of editing issues.

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this author and I really enjoyed it. I would like to give the performance a five but I can’t because of a large number, like 8 to 10 different times in the story, there were editing issues. I don’t know what the proper term is but on multiple occasions the lines were repeated., Almost like a skip in the record. More than likely, the takes were just not edited out. It was a little distracting.

I have listened to hundreds of audible books and never written a review. I loved this book. The magical qualities, the narration, the story. The entire listening journey was a gift.

Wonderful Southern Story

It took me a couple of chapters to get use to the narrator, but I am glad I pushed thought. This was a wonderful story about the South and how the many strings in life always connect us. I cried and I laughed. This book made my heart happy.

Charming in Every Way

I simply couldn't put it down. I was intangled in the lives of these small town southerners whose secrets were filled to the brim and just dying to be let loose and loved. magical, tragic, and daringly funny. so pleased with everything.
