Talk about meet cute…or a blind date gone bad! Cute story of a couple who had a blind date that ended with her puking all over him. 2 years later and fate throws them together again. Will they get their HEA or are other plans in store?

This was such a riot 😂. The original story of how Remy & Adam met, the chance meeting again between them, and how she was set up with his brother. The whole story was quite entertaining. And listening to Tor Thom (😍) read to me is just luscious, even when he’s making you laugh. And Charley Ongel is such a great Remy, the two are perfect together. Totally loved this!!

A Wonderfully Delightful RomCom! Great Narration🎧

Ryan Ringbloom continues to wow me with another wonderfully delightful romantic comedy! I am enjoying her writing style and the characters and storylines she created as well as the witty and hilarious dialogue. This book grabs your attention right from the start and captivates it for the entire book. Starting with Remi and Adam’s blind date gone wrong, Remi was a little nervous and out of her element she thought a cocktail would help loosen her up, but one leads to another and before she knows it she is intoxicated and winds up getting sick. Adam, a true gentleman, takes her home, he makes the mistake of thinking she is better but nope she was not and instead of a goodnight kiss he got barfed on. It is too bad it did not work out because there was definitely chemistry between them. The story then fast forwards two year, Remi, a late bloomer in life, has finally found a job she will be happy with, cosmetology, she also became best friends with Jenn, her work partner from class. Jenn wants to set her up on a blind date with her brother Henry but Remi is done with those, she also gave up drinking after her last disastrous date 2 years ago. Jenn does get Remi and Henry to meet, but there is no chemistry between them, Remi has not felt chemistry between any one since Adam. Like Remi Adam never forgot that date, it is one of his favorite stories to tell and to his family and friends Whiskey Girl is a legend, whether fact or fiction, none are sure. And then they get to meet again, in unusual circumstances and their first encounter shows the chemistry is alive and well. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is fast moving and cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, humor, twists and turns, heartfelt and emotional moments all leading to a meant to be smoking hot romance. Ryan Ringbloom, thank you for laughs and the fabulously entertaining story.

They do a great job portraying these characters, humanizing them as they bring them and their story to life. I love how they take each role and make it their own sounding natural and believable in that role. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions and project them into their performance. They set the perfect tone for the story, handle the witty dialogue with ease and land the humor flawlessly. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Laugh out loud funny!!

I can always count on Ryan Ringbloom to brighten up my day. This second book in the Whiskey series features Jax's sister Remi. Blind dates make her nervous, and to impress Adam, the good looking man she is with, a few Manhattans and puking when he tries to kiss her may not have left the best impression. Swearing off whiskey is the answer. Now 2 years later, drunk with her best friend, she kisses, Adam, who just happens to be a brother! Now what will these two do? A competition for attention between brothers, a legend of the whiskey chick and a few cameo appearances by Jax and Paisley and you too will be laughing. It's full of anecdotes and just hilarity, with romance and steam woven in! It's one of those books you have to listen to all at once, it's that good!

Narrated by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, we have a team that is super talented bringing this story to our ears. Spot on comedic timing, incredible chemistry and duet narration that is flawless, I was drawn in and smiling. These two are in my favorites to listen to and this one is fabulous.

Great listen

Even though the story was a bit too "coincidental" in nature, the pacing kept this story flying! If you're not off put by a healthy dose of f-bombs, this is a great listen. I received a free audio copy of this title in exchange for an unbiased review.
