Publisher's summary

One night will never be enough.

We made a pact. One night.

No strings.
No attachments.
No numbers exchanged.

I caved and gave Harrison Decker my number anyway. He just chose not to use it.

Four years later, his job brings him back into my world looking more handsome than ever and now making an effort to befriend me. Is my heart willing to take another chance on that man?

Call me crazy or crazy in love. Either way, I’m not falling for him. Again.

Absolutely lovely

Talk about your second chances!
Harrison and Tatum have an interesting meet cute that keeps bringing them back together. It’s hard to make a one night stand stick when your best friends marry each other. It might take awhile for Harrison and Tatum to admit their true feelings and find their way back to each other but the journey is well worth the wait.

Such a cute story!

It was only supposed to be one night, but oh what a night. At least in Tatum's mind, however Harrison Decker never calls. Despite the anger, it becomes difficult to avoid each other when their respective best friends are married. Harrison decides to expand his career into NY market too making avoidance that much harder with their explosive chemistry. This is a story of 2 people quickly having to face life and being forced to look at themselves and what they want. It is an emotional ride of heartache, laughs, love and passion. Tatum and Harrison are an amazing couple, loved watching them grow together throughout the book.

A 5 STAR SWEET SECOND-CHANCE

So, Natalie and Nick have found their happy ever after in the previous book (Never Got Over You) and now it’s their best friends Harrison and Tatum’s story who also met on the same night.. but their road would take over four years to develop. And you just know when there’s a pact of ‘no strings’ it’s going to be a delicious stirring of emotions as chemistry awakening desire and a skilled author lets Fate and Destiny do the rest. But the challenges of distance.. walls.. insecurities.. self-doubt and something big are hurdles to the romance that will make.. or break their relationship.

Worth a credit? Yes this was a very enjoyable dual POV listen that had swoons, sex, sweet sentiments and five star narration.

Cute

This was a super cute and fun read. I love that Tatum is so guarded and Harrison showed her over and over that she was worth the struggle to get close to her. Their love story was fun and steamy. I enjoyed their story.

This was a Bust

Simply put, the female lead, Tatum, is unlikeable. She is self-absorbed, overly emotional, insecure, unnecessarily jealous and irrational. Every time I though she was “getting better,” she would say or do something stupid. I liked the hero, Harrison, considerably more but even he started to frustrate me and I didn’t like some of his choices or the way he handled things toward the end. I wanted to smack him around with a specially made stupid stick just for him! I don’t expect storybook characters to be my clones, think like me, act like me. But sometimes a character can be particularly exasperating, similar to people in real life 🤪 Makes for a less enjoyable read. This is my least favorite of the books I’ve read by this author. I mainly kept listening because…Jacob Morgan. The ending was sweet but I was pretty much checked out at that point. Do not recommend.

S.L Scott, you can write a Love Story like no other.
Harrison and Tatum met in Carmel when they
we're vacationing with their best friends. Natalie

forgave Harrison for not calling her after the

Cute

Cute quick read, like able characters. Great narration. A great after read to cure any book hangovers. Great read after reading long or darker books. Both characters were totally different from the norm, no back and forth, great supporting characters with short bits of history In between to give a great backstory. Great job.

SoSo

Narration was great. Jacob Morgan is my absolute favorite narrator and he should narrate all books ijs…
That being said I wasn’t very impressed with this book as a whole. There were good parts but I was so very unimpressed with Tatums behavior. She was so quick to judge and write Harrison off, wouldn’t listen to his explanation and never once gave him the benefit of the doubt. The end when they finally got back together was imo kinda stupid, I won’t go into detail and spoil it but I just want impressed. I kind of want my money back on this one but since I listened all the way through I guess it will just stay in my library as never listen to again…..

When One Night Isn't Enough

If I’m being honest I’ve been hoping for a Tatum book since Never Got Over You, because she was just so colorful and I wanted to know more about her and what happened between her and Harrison. I was more than a little excited to see my wish finally come to life. Tatum is everything I observed as a side character in the other books, and I continue to love her friendship with Natalie.

To be fair, Harrison was a wildcard in my book. I hadn’t seen enough of him in the previous books to know exactly what I thought of him, and like Tatum I made some assumptions about him. But I’m so glad that he’s the hero of Tatum’s book, because it turns out he’s not the playboy I thought he was at all. Honestly, I found him to be exactly the swoon-worthy guy a girl wants to spend her happily ever after with.

I thought I was going into an enemies to lovers vibe with these two, but it was more of a second chance with an epic flirtmance. These two flirting and learning how to love each other is just so wonderful. I found myself giggling and swooning my way through this book. I was cheering for the two of them to make it no matter what.

What I loved about this book was how determined they both were to find their happy and how neither of them seemed interested in looking to someone else to fulfill that. These two have a habit of miscommunication and assumptions and at times I wanted to give them both some truth serum and lock them in a room together. Even through that I had my pom poms rooting for these two and there are so many moments I had to go back and reread because they made me laugh, smile, and swoon.
