Publisher's Summary

He needed a wife. I wanted an alien lover.

The first time I saw Jori, I hated everything about him. He didn't care about anything except himself. On the other hand, his body was spectacular, and his muscles were firm. I couldn't stop thinking about him.

When TerraMates gave me the chance to marry Jori, I took it. I knew I needed the money. What I didn't know was that Jori's exterior was a facade, and he had kept secrets from everyone his entire life.

Arranged Marriage to Secrete Agent....

...What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

I am so happy I've come across another decent sci-fi/alien romance story and series to add to my collection. I don't have a lot of sci-fi/alien romances in my library so each time I come across another great story, I feel like I have won the audiobook lottery! {{ YEAH }}

**Some Spoilers**

Samantha knew when signing up to be a TerraMate, she would end up Jori's list of potential mates due to friend of a friend manipulating the system and they would choose each other. She's actually met and interacted with Jori prior to applying with so she is well aware on how sexy Jori is. Samantha is even aware he's an ex-convict who is seeking an earth female for an arranged marriage to appear more stable and convince the parole officer he's a changed man and can be a contributing member of society, all in an attempt not to be sent back to prison. However, what Samantha doesn't know going into this arranged marriage is Jori is actually a secrete agent.

Jori knows Sam is attracted to him, heck he's attracted to her but wants to keep her safe and distance her from his secrete life and one way to ensure this is for them not to sleep together. She's determine not to make this easy on him and you can see his resistance crumble. However, shortly after being married to Jori, she learns of his double life and they end up on the run for their lives. During their struggle to stay alive, they finally admit their feelings for each other and Jori learns just how strong Sam can be.

I loved the dual POV's and having both a female and male narrators was awesome. Kelly and Terrance, really brought the story to life and made the story that more enjoyable. A solid five star performance. ✬✬✬✬✬

yes. It was a great story. It romance and action

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jory. In this story you find that he was an honorable man.

What does Kelly Morgan and Terrance Bayes bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They bring the characters to life. You hear the emotions and frustrations from each that you can't get from just reading.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

when sam escapes and faces her fears to rescue Jory.

Any additional comments?

this was the third book in the series and this was as good as the first. I love the water world characters. I would love to see more about these characters. overall, this was a good book.

I loved the plot and storyline, but I felt unsure about what/why was actually going on. Having a little bit more back story would be nice on the front end.

And I found myself questioning why some of the characters made the choices they choose, for example - At the second black-tie party, with the look-alike operatives shot and the second pair of operatives ran past Sam and Johri 'and shouted, 'Going for plan B now
plan A is blocked!' If crawling thru the tunnel was 'plan B' why weren't there any other operatives going thru the hole/tunnel too?
#1. It would have been nice to attend the logistics and planning meeting to know what plan a and plan b actually entailed.

male voice actor. there was some parts where he was too slow or acted annoyed.

Water World Confidential by Lisa Lace

Where does Water World Confidential: A SciFi Alien Mail Order Bride Romance rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is the best of the TerraMates series so far.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jori and Samantha were both great characters, but Jori was my favorite. He has put on a great act, but in Water World Confidential we get to see the real Jori. Turns out instead of a selfish jerk he is a self-sacrifcing hero.

What about Kelly Morgan and Terrance Bayes ’s performance did you like?

The narrators voiced more emotion in their narration than the narrator of the previous TerraMates audiobooks.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Meet Jori... a sexy, self-sacrificing undercover hero!

Any additional comments?

WATER WORLD CONFIDENTIAL by Lisa Lace is the third book in her TerraMates series. I'm a fan of this series and in my opinion Jori and Samantha's story is the best so far. I think I enjoyed this book more because I have read the first two books in the series, but it can easily be read as a stand-alone story.

Jori is the younger brother of Nathaniel from the first book in the series, Water World Warrior... he was a bit of a jerk, selfish, and his older brother was always worrying about him. But now he has his own story and I don't want to give out spoilers, but he is totally redeemed and we get to see the real Jori... a very sexy, very loving and protective, and self-sacrificing Jori. I loved his story even without the love story!!

Sam is Ashlynn's (Nathaniel's terramate) friend and a character I really liked from the first book so it was great getting to know her better too. She is bold, adventurous and not afraid to go for what she wants. A perfect match for Jori. Together they are an awesome couple.

I listened to the audio version of Water World Confidential and must say I liked the narration for this book more than the previous books. There is both a male and a female narrator who alternate per chapter based on the point of view for a particular chapter. I thought it worked out well and that each narrator voiced more feeling into what they were reading than the narrator of first two books.

Overall a great story I highly recommend! 4 stars

Loved This Story

This story started out with a bang and kept getting better. Loved the fact of a 48 hour journey through space to another world just to get married so she could get her credits in order to live a better life. He gets a bride so that he can continue his undecover work. Neither of them go into this arrngement blind about what is at stake except he has not revealed to anyone his secrect. But when it jumps up and tries to kill her. He must take her into his confidence and depend on her doing her part as not only his wife but his partner if they are to both survive.
The love comes later but it does come. Imagine a human and a merman. Oh My!, Both srong personaities and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. And a job well done I must say.

CUTE addition to terraMate series.

Female lead description is brown hair & olive skinned. But the alien male makes a crude comment that the lead female is similar to "poor white trash". Extremely harsh & hurtful. BUT it goes with the "part" the Male is pretending to be. NO DIVERSITY with other human races BUT the story is placed on an alien planet. The Story & drama kept my attention and the conflict scenes kept me on the edge of my car seat. I enjoyed the story. I think it was worth the money/credit.

So it just gets better!!

Any additional comments?

So I was given this book at no cost for my honest opinion and I love love love this book. Let me tell you I love Alien Romance and yes it is true that the story really doesn't read alien like it seems like these are really earth men but with that being said the book is great. I love the fact that he is not who he appears to be...suspense. I love that she is hot but comes with her insecurities of being poor white trash compared to this wealthy alien... She is wonderful and he wants her. He protects her yet puts her in danger. I know this book has so much to offer for everyone and is just well written. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to hear more from Lisa Lace. I am a FAN!!

Another good story delivered

I have really enjoyed entering the world of TerraMates. I especially enjoyed that this book had bridges to the first, I love the connections of reading a series. I enjoyed the book and loved the character Samantha. it took me some time to warm to her, but I think that was due to the reading style of Kelly Morgan. I am an Addison Spear fan, hands down. at first I felt that Jory's character felt forced and a bit fake, but as the story progressed I realized that was part of the experience of this installment. I really look forward to the next book!
