Brides of Driegon, Book 1

De: Ava Ross

Narrado por: Tawnia Murray, Teddy Hamilton

An alien dragon king meets his fated mate in a woman from Earth. With conflict brewing in the kingdom, will he be forced to make a heartbreaking choice?

Bella: When I came to the subterranean kingdom of Driegon as a mail-order bride, I didn’t expect the dragon king to sweep me off my feet, take flight, and claim me as his mate. He says a mythical mating ritual called the Torrent proves we’re fated. Yeah, sure. Then I find out he’s almost engaged. He insists he’ll find a way for us to be together, but I’ve fallen for pretty lies before, and I won’t give my heart again easily.

Malac: To end a war among the factions of my Driegon people, I must marry the daughter of a rival warlord. I’ve accepted my fate. Until I meet Bella, one of three Earthlings brought to my kingdom as mail-order brides. One touch, and my blood roars through me - the first sign of the Torrent. We’re fated and I ache to claim her, yet I cannot betray my people. But the heart of a dragon will not be denied.

Malac is book 1 in the Brides of Driegon series. This standalone, full-length story has in-the-book heat, aliens who look and act alien, a guaranteed happily ever after, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.

Okay

Teddy 10+
Tawnia 3-4 (sometime I thought it was a virtual voice, monotonous and bored, the story would have had more appeal if she added more funk/chearines to her performance).
The story was interesting, little sparse but I can see more revealed further the series. Won't be continuing, it just doesn't intrigue me enough.

Not bad

I was hesitant about this series because I lost interest 2 chapters and decided to give it another chance and finished the book. It was not bad at all. I think the male narrater make it more enjoyable displaying more emotion and feelings. His tone and acting is awesome. The female was okay and is better than many female narrated so have listen to. If you opened minded and have wild imagination I recommend you listen to this. Still a fan of VORK and that series!!!

I love the story line and adore the narrator Teddy Hamilton. The love story was captivating.

five star read

I love the storyline. I loved the introduction of the characters. you can definitely tell that this was part one that they would be some follow-ups or that this was a setup. but that's fine. I didn't have a problem with that. I did have a problem with the antagonist in the book that wasn't fleshed out. very good to me, but that was just a very small part of the story I thought they could have did a little better with that than what they did. but other than that no spoilers read the book. it was great. I think you'll like it

Excellent!!

This story is about the first earth female’s introduction to the Draconian males. Loved T Hamilton’s narration. Had some spice. A must read.
