Publisher's summary

Are you looking for the best strategies and methods to raise your toddler? Do you want to know more about the Montessori method? If yes, keep reading...

Being a parent is not easy. Bringing a child into this world requires a commitment to nurturing them and guiding them, and the ultimate aim is to have a child who is healthy and well-adjusted to life in the modern age.

Just decades ago, most people enjoyed support from an extended family and their network of neighbors; this is no longer the case. Families are shrinking, and many parents face the battle of raising a child by themselves.

The influence of society is powerful. Parents will judge themselves by how others are dealing with parenthood. It is easier even for young children to be exposed to violence and negative influences, which will affect their outlook on life.

The result is often visible. Some children are unruly, difficult to control, and even aggressive despite the best intentions of parents. Many will say the child simply needs discipline, but there is generally more to parenting than disciplining your child.

Discipline is essential to ensure your child knows what is right and wrong. However, it must be balanced against guidance, love, and nurturing; these are the things that will help your child grow into a healthy and well-adjusted young person.

This book can guide you through the hurdles of toddler discipline and help you to enjoy the time you have with your children.

It covers the following topics:

  • Discipline Theory
  • Encouraging Good Behavior
  • How to Stop Siblings Rivalry
  • The Relationship with Your Kid and the Role of Communication
  • The Importance of Limits/ Boundaries
  • The Secret of Staying Calm
  • And much more!

This audiobook is an excellent resource!

Author is quick to the point and does not mess around. A parent herself, she knows the struggles parents go through and she encourages us to empathize and see things from our child's point of view.

The Montessori method for everyone!

I found the types of activities that qualify as Montessori very useful, but above all it explains the support for positive parenting very well.

A comprehensive audio book!

This audio book made me realize that children do not think how adults think. We need to talk to them the way that they understand us and our message.

Exceptional audio book!

I had already listened to other audio books on the subject, but this explains how to involve your child and make learning fun while above all respecting your child and treating him as a human being. Exercises are also useful!
