Publisher's summary

One wishes to destroy.

One seeks power.

One wants only to forget.

Three lives shattered by the Fangs of Wallachia - weapons that hold the fragmented soul of the archangel, Samael - are on a collision course with a bloodbath that stretches from Boston to Vatican City.

They survived. It’s a bad, bad, bad, bad world. Now, a Rhodesian mercenary, a teenaged orphan, and punk rock occultist must face guns for hire, serial killers, cultists, and a Vatican assassin in a heist caper in the Holy See with much higher stakes than they ever suspected.

Awesome writer...Fantastic narrator!

I cannot say enough about Geoff Sturtevant's performance here. It is a breath of fresh air to hear such a crisp, clean, and confident voice with absolutely no background noise. This man is a true professional. He made the story all that much more enjoyable For me. The story itself was already pretty damn good. loved the author's style! Great job you two!!

And You Thought Things Were Bad in Book 1

The sequel to It’s a Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad World picks up with the handful of survivors from the first novel (yes, there actually were a couple) and shows how their lives have come apart after their encounters with the daggers. The two orphans have gone through a myriad of foster homes—one obsessed with getting the knives back and the other trying to forget that she was intended as a sacrifice for the blades. The third, the Rhodesian Mercenary, seems less effected. He’s healthier thanks to the daggers, but wants to get the lingering visions out of his head. He agrees to try and recover the knives from the serial killer who currently owns them on the condition that they be destroyed. That condition will end up with him invading the Vatican for the tools he needs to finish the job.

Catholics will not be happy with how the pope is portrayed in this novel, but don’t let that deter you from reading the book. Like the first, the action is nonstop, the characters are wonderfully crafted, and the tension just continues to rise from beginning to end. The daggers can corrupt anyone and so no one is truly trustworthy as they try to destroy the artifacts that reportedly have a corrupted archangel trapped within them.

The ending is outstanding. I can’t wait to learn what happens next.

ANOTHER GREAT READ!

This was another great read full of humor and suspense that we came to enjoy with the first book! The narration was great. It will keep you entertained. The author did a great job with the character builds and plot. This was a bit slower-paced than the first book but just as engaging! I look forward to reading more books from this author! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

To Kill an Archangel

Unlike the first book in the series, this one seemed to take itself more seriously. I loved the ending though it was a bit odd and perhaps a tad rushed. The rest of the book tried to ride out the good things in the first book without capitalizing on the opportunity to expand the crazy and make it so much more. Where the first book made amazing claims and insane statements, this one left those more to the interpretation of the reader and tried to take a more serious tone I felt. It wasn't bad and the narration was a lot better. Overall the novels were fun and that is really all that I want.

I was given a copy of this book on request for my unbiased opinion.
