Keeps getting better

Major Lennox and Detective Swift are investigating another suspicious death. Can Lennox win his fair maiden's heart as well? Each book in the series keeps getting better.

Wonderful, Intriguing and Immersive As Always!!

I love love love these books. They make me feel like I’m going home every time I listen to one. I ADORE Sam Dewhurst-Phillips. No one can narrate like him. He has such a huge range of voices for characters and he just embodies Heathcliff Lennox so well!!
Please keep up the good work KBM, your books are one of my greatest pleasures!

Wonderful series

The characters are becoming my acquaintances as I listen through the series. The author’s historical research is excellent. Unfortunately the reader lapsed into the habit of whispering the voices of the females in order to sound feminine. it is frustrating to have to take my phone out of my pocket and adjust volume repeatedly.

Riveting mystery

These books are masterfully performed. The voices of the characters make it easy to follow who is who and how they fit in the story line. The stories are brilliantly plotted. Each character brings authentic depth and you are drawn into their lives.

Lennox and Swift go to untangle first one accident, then another murder thinly disguised as an accident. This leads to tangle of long dead secrets, deceptions and treasure.

Fantastic!

I can hardly wait until the Lennox series becomes a PBS or other streaming series. (My thinking; not something I know, FYI). The detail of the time period is extraordinary and subtle humor is sprinkled throughout. The characters come totally alive and made more so by the brilliant reading of Sam Dewhurst-Phillips. An ideal melding of author and voice actor. I love that Lennox loves his two dear pets and also loves food! The descriptions of meals and such are mouth watering as well as entertaining. I love this series and can hardly wait for the next. Do enjoy!

Divine Performancd

I never re read nor re listen to light mysteries. But I have re listened to all six of this series. The narration is superb. The voice of Sam Dewhurst Phillips brings not Major Lennox to life but the diverse cast The author created. Excellent series
