Where is Lennox?

Some really liked this book, but I found it too sad with these elderly women going ga-ga over an insurance salesman. I listened to it all, but couldn't relate to women acting this way, even in a small village.

Great characters

I’ve listened to all of K. Menuhin’s Heathcliff Lennox mysteries and enjoyed them so much I bought this book without hesitation. It didn’t disappoint. A whole new cast of characters is introduced and they are interesting and entertaining. The mystery is solid, the writing excellent, and the narrator did a fantastic job. I’m not normally inclined to write reviews, and I’m rarely so effusive in my praise, but this author has proven to be consistent in creating engaging characters and good story lines. I’m looking forward to listening to the next book in the series and hoping this series will continue for many more books to come.

Great new book in a new series!

Adorable new cozy mystery by established writer Karen Menuhin and Zoe Markham. The start to an engaging new series. I look forward to many more!!

Loved it!

This new series is starting off in such a lovely way. Enjoyed the older characters and the setting is rich with potential. Can’t wait for another!

Charming

Narrator is spot on, characters relationships are my favorite and the mystery is solid. A well written break from the young male sleuth trope.

felt very gossipy

This was a difficult book to finish. The characters were lovely but a little bit of loveliness can go too far without a strong plot, which had no actual action. Rather this story was chapter after chapter of older ladies gossiping about other older ladies to solve a very dull murder. I really did love the main character but would have preferred that the other characters weren't just like her,

It was okay

I enjoy the Lenox mysteries and looked forward to this one. It just didn’t so much for me. The narrator was good… it was the story.

Not bad but

I really like the Heathcliff Lennox series much better and Anxiously waiting for the next audiobook.
As for this book the narrator was very good .

Excellent story!!

Love the plotting. The voice actor was great although sometimes i had difficulty telling some of the women apart. Just purchased the next book. Thanks Karen and Zoe!!!

Fun Read!

Listened to Audio Book version. Excellent reader performance. Story managed to both move along and appropriately develop the characters.
