Publisher's Summary

Do you want to build a body that surpasses your 20s and lasts for years to come?

Is it even possible to even change your body after 50? After what age can my body not cope with workouts and physical activity? Should I even consider fitness if I have spent most of my life idle?

If you are interested in answering any of these questions, interested in learning about physical fitness at your age, then read on.

Life has a habit of trying it's best to get in between you and the things you want. It can break us down, and when considering the idea of transforming your body for the better, you might have thoughts like this: "I don't have time to go to the gym", "I don't have the time to prepare meals", "I don't have a supportive environment", "I don't know how to do it, and I might look stupid" - and, what I hear the most is, "I'm too old for all this".

Yes, it is true - your younger years are behind you, but you are far from too old to get fit and healthy. In this book, I am taking you on a journey that will educate you about nutrition, exercise, and discipline. I will show you how these things influence your body and update you with the latest information and research in strength training. With the pertinent information at your disposal, you will build routines, diets, and workouts that will focus on achieving immaculate fitness.

  • Become an expert on nutrition and design your delicious meals.
  • Master the most efficient movements and understand exercise techniques, so you never need a trainer again.
  • Learn abundant amounts of knowledge in strength training so you can go straight from clueless beginner to seasoned veteran.

You aren't just buying a book. You're investing in yourself.

Included with this audiobook is a PDF file you can download with illustrations of exercises in the book. You can refer back to the document as much as you please, so check it out.

Worst ever book

This is absolutely worthless. A whole chapter just describing the contents of a gun and what each piece of equipment is named and costs? Really? I could t have thought up such a horrible book if I tried!

Informative and practical!

This is a great book! This book is organized in a way that is very easy to understand and you get a complete overview of the reasons behind how to work out. There are so many helpful tips and strategies offered in the book to help you work out more efficiently. I really enjoyed the chapter on the only equipment you need. Who'd thought you only need this one piece of equipment to get full-body training! And this book gives you step by a step training program. Get your book so you will find out what is that one piece of equipment you need for a full-body workout.

Smart and safe exercises.

It is a very well-narrated audiobook. In my personal practice, I have not been doing crazy exercises but have followed the gentle technique since my 40s. It would be dangerous for my health to do something extreme. So this book is my next phase for executives over the age group of 50, which I will begin soon. The book gives smart, healthy exercises for this age and they can help achieve better results and be in shape, and you don't need to spend that much time. I am trying to do it as a good habit, so it is not that boring. You can see some images there to help you with a particular exercise. These types of exercises were redesigned so that you do not injure your muscles or joints. The exercises are appropriate for people who have problems with obesity, high or low blood sugar, or heart disease. The author explains how your attitude affects your exercise and how to deal with that if you are in a bad mood. That particular part of the book is basically about how to build positivity that can help you achieve good results. That helps me a lot. It is also easy to follow the instructions since they explain the minimal equipment that you need for a particular exercise.

Very helpful!

This audiobook has lots of useful information on strength training. It is communicated in a conversational style that is easy to follow and describes exercises that are appropriate for older men, including what to do and what not to do to stay healthy. Old Man Strength!

This audiobook is just the one thing any man over the age of 50 needs. Usually, around that age, things start to slow down including your physical activity. Bryant, not only gives you a full insider into losing fat and gaining muscle but he also gives you a downloadable PDF to have a visual product you can hold in your hand to guide you through everything.

I will be incorporating this into my dad's physical routine ASAP!

Great fitness audiobook.

This goes over the things one needs to do to stay fit over the age of 50. However, this book applies to all. The narration is well done and the book flows well.

Fitness for life

I have been working out for years and always look to consistently learn and improve hence why my research never stops. Although I have not hit my 50’s yet, I’ve picked up some really good exercises from this book which I’ve started to incorporate into my current routine. The pdf illustrations were really helpful. Worth a check for any serious lifters regardless of age.

Great Practical Advice!

Despite the book being for men, I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt so much from it! I’m in my late 40s and a woman, and I’m really getting into building more muscle in order to stay healthy and strong. Also, I’m really trying to get my husband into the topic - this book is a fab resource. The theory and practical exercise structure presented here by the author is very easy to understand and digest - which was perfect for me.

Would definitely recommend, an easy listen too, overall 5 stars without hesitation ⭐️

Worth a read even if under 50

I’m not even a man over 50 but felt like it before buying this book, wanted to start weight training but didn’t know where to start - well written and easily digestible so even a scrawny little gym avoider like me can nail my technique and go lift weights confidently around all the meat heads at the gym.

Just really helpful

As someone who is in this age demographic I was nervous about this book in case it just felt out of my reach. But this is a motivating and practical listen with some tips you can easily get on and do. Although I would consider myself quite fit this book gives the extra nudge you need. But there are tips and strategies that I had not heard of before. A very motivational listen regardless of age. I have taken some great insights which I am going to action. Very good!

Loved it!

I was checking out this book so that I can recommend it to someone I know who has been struggling with diabetes and trying to lose weight, unsuccessfully. I enjoyed listening to it, and loved the fact that there is even a pdf that shows in images some of the described exercises. I hope he will find it helpful.

Brilliant!

If you're over 50 years of age and want to get fit then I would advise this being your place to start. A brilliant book as well as audiobook (I have both) which take you through exactly what you need to know when starting out on the journey of becoming more physically active.
