Publisher's summary

After the death of her father - Pa Salt, an elusive billionaire who adopted his six daughters from around the globe - Tiggy D’Aplièse, trusting her instincts, moves to the remote wilds of Scotland. There she takes a job doing what she loves: caring for animals on the vast and isolated Kinnaird estate, employed by the enigmatic and troubled Laird, Charlie Kinnaird.

Her decision alters her future irrevocably when Chilly, an ancient gypsy who has lived for years on the estate, tells her that not only does she possess a sixth sense, passed down from her ancestors, but it was foretold long ago that he would be the one to send her back home to Granada in Spain.

In the shadow of the magnificent Alhambra, Tiggy discovers her connection to the fabled gypsy community of Sacromonte, who were forced to flee their homes during the civil war, and to ‘La Candela’, the greatest flamenco dancer of her generation. From the Scottish Highlands and Spain to South America and New York, Tiggy follows the trail back to her own exotic but complex past. And under the watchful eye of a gifted gypsy bruja, she begins to embrace her own talent for healing.

But when fate takes a hand, Tiggy must decide whether to stay with her newfound family or return to Kinnaird and Charlie....

boring - struggled to finish

so far probably the most slow moving book out od the series. Almost no suspense and almost no love story.

Again, I could immerse myself in new worlds

I am a fan of the entire series of books about the D'Aplièse sisters and The Moon Sister was as enjoyable to listen to as the others. Another sister and another world, a place to explore and see. Just like the stories of her ancestors. The author surprises us with something new every time. Overall I am satisfied, although the beginning was not very exciting. In this part of the saga, the action developed a bit lazily. The narrator has a nice slightly hoarse voice, which was a nice change, but she read the role of one of the characters with such a strong accent that I had a hard time understanding the words (English is not my first language), which happened to me for the first time when listening to Audible books. But overall I am satisfied.

Lovely story

Lucinda Riley does not disappoint with this sisters story. Very well done!!! Narrator did an excellent job and kept the story rolling smoothly. Tiggy, is a sweet addition to the series and I loved her nature loving spirit. Well done no spoilers.

Mostly very good

Loved most of it. Had some issues with the accents of the narration. Something about using English dialect, as well as accents, bothered me when they were spoken in the POV of the character, which was not English. Story was entertaining if a bit predictable. But still enjoyable.
I want to read the next one, but it doesn't seem to be up yet. If anyone knows the release date, please respond to me?

Good Story. Terrible narration

I enjoyed the story but the narrator was terrible. She read the book like she was speed reading. I often had to back it up to understand what the character was saying! Almost ruined the book.

Another great story in the series!

Loved Tiggy’s story, just like all the others. Loved the narrator. I thought her voice got the character.
