Loved this book!

I haven’t given a book 5 Stars in a long time! But I loved the characters, the story, and all the surprises. This book really kept me guessing until the very end. I will definitely be looking up more from the author.

This book has a very interesting twist.

I’m surprised to find this book on the list of free books. It’s very well written, and has an interesting twist in the story. I think the author should write more books and charge for them. Thank you K. L. Slater for offering this book as a choice to those who belong to audible. I’m waiting for another book you written.

Wonderfully Written!

This is my second book by author, K. L. Slater. absolutely love her books so far. I'm immediately drawn into the book and the characters with both books I have read. I will continue to read her books and or listen to them on audible. I admire the author and give High cheers and praise to the woman who reads the books by audible. I can't remember her name but I will take a note of it after this. she sounds like the same woman that reads for another series that I enjoy very much.

Entertaining! I thought I had it all figured out, but there is an extra, tiny twist at the end that the listener won’t see coming.
Great narration, too.

This book turned out to be a very good read. I had an image in my mind of what I thought was going to happen, and I was very wrong. It was a little slow in the beginning, but the ending was worth the wait. My favorite was the transformation of one of the main characters. She was really irritating in the beginning of the story, but by the end, she was great.
Lucy Price-Lewis did a terrific job narrating.

Excellent story

Keep me wondering . Narrator was excellent. Loved how the story moved forward yet filled in the gaps by going back in time. Story and characters tied together nicely in the end
