Enjoyable listen!

I absolutely love her writing! Very enjoyable to listen to. Great narration. The ending was predictable hence 4 instead of 5 stars.

Creepy and clever

Another clever thriller by Freida McFadden. I read this one quickly. I wasn’t expecting the twist, but it wasn’t that surprising either, nonetheless it was still entertaining.

Great family thriller

Enjoyed the narration and story was very good. Keeps in line with McFaddens stories. Twists and turns till the very end.

Not my favorite….

The story and the reader did not believably portray the words and voices of a teenager. The mom was very whiny in words and tone. I love all the other McFadden books I have read, but not this one. Nice twist though..

Great book - didn’t see the ending coming

I binged this book in one day, it was super easy to follow & nice narrator, but still had a surprise ending!

Omg I almost had this book figured out I did how’re guess correctly same time the story actually told who it was lol ur an amazing author and I absolutely love reading u books!!!

Enjoyable - Flat Affect by Erica

I binged this in two days (yard work). I didn't guess the culprit, so that was fun! Not that complex a story, but it was fairly short and enjoyable. The one thing I couldn't get beyond was the monotone, laissez-faire responses by Erica to earth-shattering events in her life. Ho Hum. Ho Hum.. Just found out that this crazy, unbelievable thing is happening to me, but, let's move on and not show emotion. Weird affect. Not sure if it was the way it was written, or a misstep by the narrator.

Definitely an unbelievable story. No doubt about it. Not a thriller or white knuckle read by any stretch. It was fine. pretty good. okay.

First read by this author. I'll try another.

A little boring and predictable

I loved Freida McFadden the Housemaid. I found this book a less engaging and kind of predictable.

Great Story. Narration not right.

Great mystery, lots of turns and twists, as usual!!! Had the mystery not been so enthralling, I would have quit. Overly effected narration made it impossible to enjoy like all her other books.

Couldn’t put it down

I did not expect to be so into this book but it really made me reflect as a parent. I think the story was good and suspenseful and I didn’t expect the ending.
