Nice easy Listen

I prefer Lucy Price to narrate K.L. Books. This was an okay story. It did have a plot twist but was not my favorite. It was easy to listen to while being busy. It did not require a lot of things to remember.

Meh

Up and down volume, the speed of the narrators was way off. I had to keep changing my setting.

British mystery

I really liked the story and I thought the narrator did a great job with different British voices. The details of the story were done quite well and I thought the plot moved along at a nice pace.

wow, that has a surprise ending that I never expected. well written and hard to put down.

Nice twist

Well, this book takes you down a fun rabbit hole. Sometimes the back-and-forth with the timeline of events was hard to follow sometimes but was easily ignored as the listener got engrossed in the juicy details of what was happening, regardless of when the event fit in the actual timeline of the story. Found myself annoyed at the heroine’s persistent naivety until realizing that most of us regular folk would probably be as trusting as she is portrayed to be. Good job, all involved. Superb narrating!

Cool twist at the end

This was a captivating, well written and beautifully narrated book about an author who went missing. Through a series of events, an unedited book was found and the narrator was asked to narrate the new book, but the inconsistencies with character development led to answering some questions and finding out the truth! It was a great book! Well worth the listen!

It was OK…

I have read everything by K L Slater. I generally really like her books. This one was in my library forever because the plot just didn’t really interest me. I finally listened to it and I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it either. Just kind of so-so. I did enjoy hearing the perspective of the narrator since I listen to so many audible books.  Now the thing that bugs me the most about this book is that the Audible cover makes it look like the woman is wearing a clown nose. How did they not see that? lol 

Twister

Very good story, keeps you gripped enough not to notice the difference in the speed of the narrator’s. You have to keep adjusting your speed level.

Awesome plot twist!

As usual, great character development and a fun ride. You genuinely feel for the people.

Good story

Wasn’t one of my favorite books, but the storyline was enough to keep me interested, and I enjoyed the narrators accent.
