Publisher's summary

Left alone at Marlow House with Sadie and Max, Walt expects Danielle and Lily to return by the end of the week. When they don't, he begins to wonder what happened to them.

The ghost of Marlow House doesn't scare six-year-old Evan MacDonald. When the child sneaks into the house in the middle of the night, seeking Walt's help, the resident spirit learns something has happened to Danielle and Lily.

Can a ghost confined to Marlow House and a pint-sized medium bring the people they love home?

Intriguing and makes me laugh at times

This series brings the best of a lot of worlds; a little mystery (I find it is not always that easy to determine “who dun it”), a little farce, a little romance, a little animal love, some very rich folks, some “spirits”, some forgiveness and some wisdom from unexpected sources. Each book is just a little better than the last-maybe because I know the characters better. This series would make a great tv series.

New Puppy

I am really enjoying this series; each book gets better and better. I like the backstory and the building off of that story in each book. I love animals and the addition of the animals, makes the series that much better! I am looking forward to hearing about the new puppy, I hope she becomes one of the regular characters like Sadie and Max. I rescued one of the same breed 6 years ago, the best girl ever!

Unhealthy Relationships??

I love this series. This book was a good change of pace with the location change, but overall not my favorite book. Jumped around so much. Just something missing is all, hard to describe.

Also, I am starting to believe that the relationship between Walt and Danielle is becoming increasingly unhealthy let alone very awkward for her other relationships.

5 stars

This is a very good paranormal cozy mystery series. I have read most of the books on my Kindle and I enjoy listening to them as well. I hope all of the books are made into audio books.

Love the series,But,,,

This series is really so enjoyable, but there are 3 things that are getting so irritating. First. how many times the constant question from one one or more of the primary characters of,"What do you mean?" That is so frustrating to hear repeatedly as if the characters are that unintelligent? Really? Then there's the overused phrase of, "I don understand. " Again it makes the characters sound less than smart about basic situations, than any very average person does indeed understand. I was actually glad about the setting of this book, because every previous book in the series has been filled with constant mentioning of Danielle's "Red Ford Flex!!!" Please just stop! You can stop telling us the make and model of her car when, most of the time, there's no reason to be so specific about it. we all know what kind of car Danielle drives by now. I hope that the future books in this series won't be so ridiculous. But, believe it or not I do enjoy this series. I just want to keep enjoying them.
