Publisher's Summary

Megan Keeler died years ago - or so everyone believes. In fact, she disappeared to escape from her sadistic husband, Glenn. When dismembered body parts were found near their home, Glenn was convicted of his wife's murder. And Megan, terrified for her unborn child's safety, never came forward with the truth....

Since then, Megan has built a new life in Seattle for herself and her son, Josh. She's never forgotten that she's a fugitive, and Josh knows nothing about her past. But someone does. First, there are anonymous emails and threats, just as she learns that Glenn has been released from prison. Then the unthinkable happens: a masked man breaks into their home and abducts Josh....

To save her son, Megan must put herself at the mercy of a maniac. Is Glenn a cold-blooded killer determined to destroy her world piece by piece, or is the truth even more twisted? Megan thought she knew fear, but her nightmare is only beginning....

Good not Great...

I think TERRIFIED by Kevin O'Brien is a very good book. I also think it's a little formulaic and kind of predictable. There's the abusive husband and the wife who runs with false identification who shortly after finds out that she's pregnant. The monkey wrench to her plan is a third person psychopath who also wants her and is murdering women he has kidnapped as substitutes.
This is not a new book and listening to his then compared to now style of writing is kind of interesting.
Again, good book. Not in my top ten but certainly worth listening to.

Got it already!

Well, this author impressed with with his first book which I listened to. Wow, it was great.Throw cold water on me to stay away good.

The second seems to be a rerun of the same theme with the players and villains having different names and places in society.

Psycho kidnaps someone which he has been watching and may or may not be obsessed with them. He has a home with a basement where he holds his prey, meanwhile taunting their loved ones. Killing anyone in the way is no problem for the sickos in these books.

So, number three is developing into another basement or secluded room, no one knows where the victims are, as they just vanish. Until he is finished with them. Then bodies start showing up

So, I’m done with this author until he changes his books to another theme.

I want my credit back.

Enjoyed this book!

After trying very hard to find a good book, I am happy to say, FINALLY! This was a great book, the ending made me feel a bit sad, but understandable. The narrator did a good job and the book kept my interest throughout.
