In the still shadows of the confessional, a madman tauntingly reveals his plan for a murder he is going to commit, pulling Father Thomas Madden into a twisted game by disclosing his next intended victim: Tom's sister, Laurant. In a frantic race to protect her, Tom calls upon his best friend, elite FBI agent Nick Buchanan, to track the predator who is closing in on Laurant. Now, as an electrifying attraction grows between Laurant and Nick, so does the danger - and one false move will cost both of them everything that matters.

I like the narrator when she does her women voices the men not so much, love Garwood and her stories this one as well as Mercy have a bite the story is suspenseful enough that keeps it interesting, yes I would recommend this to other people, I can even see this made into a movie.

Great story!!!!!

I can't decide what's worse. A predictable story that could have been told in a third the time. A narrator whose accent sounds robotic, over articulates, and sometimes adds the wrong accent to the character. I listened to it on a 1.25 speed just to get it over with. Whoever hired this narrator should be fired, or at least forced to listen to the entire book.

I've read this book before but never listened to it. I still love the story but the narrator was terrible. Her accents are laughably bad. As the main character has a French accent by the end I was ready to pull my hair out listening to the narrator butcher it. Unfortunate because the story is otherwise worth a listen.

Great story awful narrator

The story just had too much narrating instead of the character talking. I enjoy most of the story the priest as the brother best friend FBI sexy agent and his semi bold sister the end was the best gave it 3 stars

Just ok

Developed but sometimes silly characters take precedence over plot. The narrator distinguishes the voices of the characters well. But she used a weird annoying accent for the main female character that seemed to come and go.
