Charmed for life?

Thanos Agapiou has always been a charmer. For over two millennia, the vampire had no problem acquiring whom and what he wanted with a flash of his handsome smile. He took for granted the boyish good looks he presumed he'd possess for the rest of eternity. How very wrong he was. A nearly fatal attack distorted his entire existence. With his appearance now matching the title many have bestowed on his kind - monster - he hides away from the world and all of those who know him, including his Ancient, Eton.

Until one night when a stranger draws him out from the shadows.

Or cursed for eternity?

Ever since Paris Antoniou was thrust into a world of vampires, his reality has become stranger than the history and the myths he's studied for the past decade.

When he learns the truth about his origins and the power he wields, his confusion and fear have him running for his life. What he doesn't expect is to run into the arms of Thanos - a vampire who doesn't intimidate him as much as he intrigues him.

What has the power to make you want to survive?

As their worlds collide under extraordinary circumstances, an attraction neither can deny takes hold. But will that be enough to save Thanos from his demons, or will he condemn Paris to his fate? Destinies have been changed. Lines have been crossed. And, with tales of the vampire race coming to an end, who will make the ultimate sacrifice?

After all, in a world run by vampires and gods, only one can be the true master among the monsters.

Thanos, Paris and Eton... a different side.

In the last of the series you have Thanos, Paris and Eton. You get glimpses into Thanos's life before becoming vampire and his life with Eton. Thanos was chosen for Eton for a reason, he is the only vampire that can control the ancient one and his demon.

When Paris crosses their paths and the attraction is noticed by Eton all bets are off an the race to the finish from the gods above cannot change their fate... or can they.

Still HOT!

Narration by Bruce Cullen whom I now deem the Vampire Master among men is melting your panties again!

unlikely story

I love Ella Frank books, but this book didn't do it for me, it's unlike any she has written boring.

Train wreck ending

First book in the series was great, I loved it, like I couldn’t wait to listen to the next one. But it was all downhill from there. So I kinda wish I’d stopped with the kinda cliffhangery ending in book 1.

I read/listened to the next books because I wanted to get the rest of Leo’s storyline, and there was a lot of their story included, so that was good - but still not worth it.
Also, I never really felt a connection with the cousins or their stories and tbh, it felt like a lot of filler (because the rest of Leo’s story wouldn’t take up another two books??).

And like my title says, the ending was a train wreck. I read some reviews before buying that said as much, but I soldiered on annnnnd it was way worse than expected. Like, I almost abandoned the last chapter and epilogues when I saw where it was going - like WTAF - but like a train wreck, I couldn’t look away, had to see how bad.

At this point I’ve read quite a bit that Ella Frank has put out and this nowhere near my top five. I’m not much of a reviewer but buyer beware on this one.
