Scratch that last one. Lumberjacks aren't my thing. Anymore. Micah cured me of that, which tends to happen when you're trying to buy someone's family land to bulldoze to the ground.

He can call me a Scrooge all he wants, but business is business, and pleasure is . . . well, not something I can afford to think about. Even if it does come packaged in those tight jeans and flannel shirts that make me want to rip them off with my teeth—

No. This is not happening. I will not think of Micah as anything other than an obstacle to getting what I want. A really sexy obstacle.

A Great Holiday Listen

The story was wonderful and easy to keep up with, but the narrator could make a song bird ssoon!

Aiden Snow is LIFE

This was my first holiday romance book. However, it was read by the legendary Aiden Snow. It was everything you could expect from him. It was so so good. It was sweet, sexy, holiday cheesiness... it was wonderful.

Cute novella

This was a really cute Christmas novella. I loved the dynamic between Micah and Max. A city boy falling for a lumberjack.

The audio was perfect. Aiden Snow is one of my favorite narrators.

I'll be honest...

The synopsis of this book did nothing to catch my attention, however, the voice of the narrator caught my attention enough to give it a chance. The story is entertaining enough to listen to it entirety but somewhat simplistic at the time. It leaves a nice and important message and the story is linear and direct. I found it refreshing as something to enjoy without thinking too much but it leaves a little to be desired at the same time. It's a good story to pass the time but I wouldn't have wanted to pay the original price or a credit purchase for this. I don't find it worth it. If you find it on sale like me ($2) give it a try.

I liked this one

Great story, a lot of detail and depth. Aiden Snow and his smoking hot voice just made it even better. Love the way he can tell a story.

The narrator

It was a really cute story, but very slow to start. Honestly I listened because I really like Aiden Snow as an narrator.

Big time scrooge!

Maxwell is a big old scrooge but he comes around. This was a cute read.

Posting my review from my first read since it sums up how I still feel- although I don't recall what part made me so mad at Maxwell!

Not my favorite holiday read from these two, but it was entertaining. Although there was one scene with Maxwell that almost had me throw in the towel.
Definite an opposites attract story, I don't think you could find 2 quite so opposite characters than Micah and Max.
This would make for a good Hallmark movie- the clueless rich guy gets stranded at the small town family tree farm for the holiday and finds some Christmas spirit.
