Publisher's Summary

When Naomi Jensen is kidnapped, it takes her parents two days to realize she's missing. Escape isn't high on her list of priorities when all she has to return to is an abusive boyfriend and parents who never paid much attention to her. For the first time in her life she's part of a family - even if it is a family of criminals. But she's still a captive. In a desperate attempt to regain some control in her life, Naomi embarks on a dangerous plan to make one of her kidnappers think she's falling in love with him. The plan works too well, and when faced with the chance to escape, Naomi isn't sure she wants to take it.

a bit twee

Ideally I would rate this book 3.5. Considering the subject matter of a kidnap, I was expecting the plot to be a little grittier than it turned out to be. The main character/the victim, is very weak, as were the criminals' motivations. I liked the reader's voice except she tended to make Naomi sound quite winey.
On the positive side, I found the Stockholm element to be quite realistic.
Not a bad book on the whole but if you are a thriller/suspense lover like myself, you might find this title a little "nice".

Great story

I loved this book. The story line kept me guessing and I love the characters. I found it had to understand Niomi though as she is a very complex character and had lots of mixed emotions.
