Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I like Greg's sincerity and hope for a positive change in this world. I don't know if its pie in the sky thinking, but I still like how I am changing my mind on things and wishing for a better place.
Would you be willing to try another book from Gregg Braden? Why or why not?
Yes, I am just hoping that it will cover new ground. This particular book was a fly over on various findings on physics and science. I would have liked more detail.
What did you learn from The Spontaneous Healing of Belief that you would use in your daily life?
I am planning on looking at things with a more positive approach vs. the negative everything must go to hell in a hand basket because the book of Revelation in the Bible says so. For me, this is a radical departure from the Christian perspective and i am hoping the world will catch up to this before its too late.

Would you try another book from Gregg Braden and/or Gregg Braden?
No. I had heard Gregg Braden speaking on an audio lecture by Depak Chopra, "An Ancient Magical Prayer". I had never heard of him before and his ideas in that lecture were thought-provoking and brought clarity to an often ambiguous topic of prayer and Spirituality. That's no easy feat and so I was anxious to read one of his books...oh, how disappointing.
Has The Spontaneous Healing of Belief turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, just his.
Any additional comments?
His over emphasis of how many of today's people view our world as negative seemed to belabor a point, especially in light of the fact that our beliefs create our reality. I kept thinking about what he was creating as he was writing this. He then proceeded to discuss a possible cataclysmic event soon that will change everything....although we can make it great if we can just adjust our reality before it hits.

He also stated beliefs as facts, "Belief # such and such states that we must"...that got old fast.

The part of the book that ended it for me though was the part where he says we are living in a Virtual Reality controlled by a huge computer program. Ok, I was hanging on thru the Virtual Reality part. I understand that as choices unfold in life we can recreate our path thus making what we feel is inevitable, really just another option in life. I lost him on the whole concept that my world is literally a software program being run in the great beyond. I waited for him to say that our perception was analogous to a big software program, but he didn't..no, he is sure we're actually in one. Really? How disappointing.

If you are interested in motivation and positive thinking and want to know how it works and why, this is a must listen. It also tells why "nay sayers" think it doesn't work. Law Of Attraction!
Are we really in "The Matrix"? Are we in the hiding from GOD, "what if" dream of "A Course In Miracles"?
This book is thought provoking though negative people may find it over their head.
I certainly think it is worth the listen and the price and am recommending it to my Network Marketing Team.

The premise that this author starts off with is interesting, yet he soon states a fact which he puts forth as proven, and takes huge leaps from that fact drawing conclusion that are much weaker. This book does help to open up ones mind, and think out of the normal box. Would I read an additional book writen by Gregg Braden I do not belive that I would. I do believe that the author does believe what he writes. I also believe that Mr. Braden means well and that there is much truth in his basic supposiions.

i love the book but it doesn't follow the written book which was very frustrating for our book group. We like to "read" while we simultaneously listen together in a group. we each purchased the audio and written book, several of us ended up purchasing the 2 versions of the written book. it was a bust, the audio is different than both copies of the written books. Ugh!
loved it. incredibly inspiring. Should be read by everyone. Fascinating and fun to listen to. Greg has a wonderful way of getting his point across.
What made the experience of listening to The Spontaneous Healing of Belief the most enjoyable?
I needed it for a class and it was a great way to fast track my homework reading. However I didn't initially realize that it is abridged and you'll need the full book unabridged to get all the stories and the charts, graphs and outlines of writing exercises and such things
Who was your favorite character and why?
What about Gregg Braden’s performance did you like?
his voice is easy to understand
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No. too dense of material. I listened to it over several weeks, but I did go through it faster than I expected to, and that was because it was easy to listen to.
Any additional comments?
if you are new to "New Thought," you'll need to listen over and over.
I love Gregg's work but this book didn't enlight me at all. The narrator is monotone so in a audio book you loose interest. I did find anything that keep me wanting more. I am not returning as I love Gregg's other books.
it validated what I already new and cleared up some confusion stupendous book loved it!!
What disappointed you about The Spontaneous Healing of Belief?
While quantum mechanics and living inside a computer are somewhat new concepts, I don't think these should be used to explain the content of this kind of audiobook. The author doesn't seem to understand these andvanced concepts. He even tries to adapt them to support his thesis. You can't just take experimental science and distort it to support your pseudo facts. It just doesn't feel right and if you know a little about quantum mechanics you will not like this book.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
By listening to this book, I felt anger and disappointment. I feel that there are a lot of good concepts and insights concealed in Gregg Braden's work but I dislike how he assumes that the very things we don't know are actual facts for his theory.
Any additional comments?
Frankly, you too can read about science and develop your own theories. Go pick a buddhist book and a quantum mechanic book. Mix them together and voilà.. you'll see the world differently. Too.
