Total Waste of Time

This guy was tall enough and athletic enough to dominate at basketball. His family was rich enough to "summer in Madrid" every year. And he was smart enough to graduate college and work in I.T.
Somehow he managed to overcome all of these obstacles and become a confident male :|
And he will teach you how to be a confident alpha male also:
- work out and get buff;
- read lots of books;
- learn martial arts so you can kick butt.

....now you know.

Other Reviews on the Book are Suspicious. Return!

I decided to give this audible book a chance based upon the rave reviews.

I got to the point where the author suggest the reader follow the same exercise plan he did and suggests to learn the technique from YouTube. I had to stop at this point. This is NOT good, sound advice. Everybody has different exercise needs. Work with a trainer to get proper advice for your body type and learn proper technique, especially if you haven't ever worked out at a gym. Do not blindly follow what worked for somebody else and expect great results.

So, I went back to the reviews that persuaded me to buy this book...

At the time of this writing, there are twelve reviews. There are four reviewers that have more than 25 books in their library--Three reviews have been members since 2001, but have 25 or less books purchased in the 14 years!!! That's hard to believe. Only three reviewers have written more than three reviews. These might be credible.

I do not think this is a helpful book for people wanting self improvement. I would recommend not deciding on buying this book based on the reviews here. There is something that doesn't seem right here. I would pass and find another book that has more credible reviews.

Juvenile, derived, immature "advice"

A stereotypical, adolescent male approach to life with not much more than contrived anecdotes and a list of other resources of similar quality. I have no doubt the author thinks their insights are profound, but this is the mark of a young life.

David "Slays Women".

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The title doesn't say anything about hooking up with women. That is clearly his main bit. Could be helpful for a young "bro".

What could David De Las Morenas have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

He is clearly a professional book writer that cobbles some junk together and sells it cheaply on Amazon/Audible.

Incredibly Sexist

If you enjoy books with lots of swearing and men talking about their balls, then this book is for you. Otherwise, skip it. The same advice can be found in plenty of other well written books.

Thank You

They say you should hang out with people who are where you want to be. Not with people who hold you back. Some people do not have this luxury. This book is great, the author is the next best thing to a friend that pushes you in the right direction. You can tell by his words that he is not just doing this for the money. He actually enjoys helping people. Wish I had more friends like this. Get the book, I've read a few of his now. You won't regret it.

Great book

Overall this was a great book. I really enjoyed the narration as well.

The 30 steps hits the largest areas I found missing in my life. Albeit not all I will be working on the insight has identified new ways and ideas that one can use to develop a stronger you.

Mediocre at best.

I didn't think the book was really at all about Alpha. More along the lines of just a busy self-help book. I would not recommend it.

Mediocre

I found this book thoroughly unimpressive, perhaps because I've already read a fair amount on masculinity. For me this didn't really hold any new information. The work of Elliot Hulse, who's referenced in a chapter, offers a lot of the same information for free on YouTube. Or if you like reading the King, Warrior, Magician, Lover books by Robert L. Moore and Douglas Gillette are a personal favourite and offer a lot more detail on the ideas.

A really interesting listen

I downloaded this audiobook to start understanding 'the alpha'. What I got was that every individual is striving for something, has fears and insecurities. It's the way you deal with them - meeting them head on with honesty, hard work and dedication that drives you forward as an individual.
