Seriously probably the most impactful book I have ever read!

I love this book! So many golden nuggets and practical applications in daily life. I know I have to re read this book very soon.

I love self- help books, and this book stands out from the crowd in a grand way for me. I'm not sure it it's the timing where I am in my life or if it's simply the book itself - that's up to you. However the practical steps in the end of every chapter and topic is in itself priceless. One example for the beginning of the book that I immediately took to heart is:

"How can you live with people and not understand how they thing and feel?!" This is so interesting to think about and the author carries on to think about two different persons that you know, think about the most successful one and the least success if one. Compare them: what do the they do differently? What can you learn from this?

I was almost afraid to carry on reading sometimes because I felt the limitless potential of myself.

I would like to finish this review with citing the book from my head:
" nothing beats seeing yourself grow to be more successful. Nothing is more challenging to try and make the best out of one self"

With that said. I hope you are trying your best in everything you do. If not read this book and try again!

Thanks to Tim ferris and also IBM (Internet business mastery) podcast for recommending this book. I owe you.

The magic of freeking awesomeness!!!

Before this book I had lost my dreams, I was in a low paying job that I didn't enjoy I had tried starting my own business and failed and almost decided to move to Puerto Rico because I couldn't live a mediocre life and so being poor on the beach would be better than being a junior software developer working 15 hours a day for the rest of the foreseeable future. My dream is to be an entrepreneur and because of this book I know now how I can do it! I have bought the audio and hard copy and plan to implement everything that it teaches so I can reach my dreams. Thank you to the author and producers!

what we all need to hear

I bought this as recommended by Tim Ferris in 4 hour work week. Profound in its simplicity. Nothing new or groundbreaking At the same time it's something we all need to hear. Again and again. Until we're writing our own books.

Very Dated

There are some good points in the book but it's just extremely out of date. I understand a lot of these principles and concepts are timeless, but so many of the examples and the context was out of date. To me it is like a watered down much less compelling version of "Think and Grow Rich" by Napolean Hill. I found much Think and Grow Rich to be more far reaching, interesting and useful. I was actually glad to get to the end of this book, it was a tough listen. It felt like I was listening to Ward Cleaver lecture on "Leave it to Beaver".

Dated but relevant

Once you get past the fact that this was written 60 years ago the theories still apply today. It is a good listen.

Heard a lot about this book. Well worth the read. It's been a nice "end" to the self-help kick I've been on for the last few months.

Chocked full of insight, amazing book!

Common sense and wisdom in spades. Geared for business and selling, but can be used for everyday relationship building. Older terminology and perspective, but still valuable with a bit of imagination and mental updating.

Good, sound, practical life lessons. AMAZING STUFF

Where does The Magic of Thinking Big rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

As a self-help books go, I thought this was one of the best ones I have come across in a long time. It is absolutely worth reading, not once or twice, but as a handy guide.
I've recommended this book to family and close friends.

What did you like best about this story?

Practical advice that is easy to apply right there and then.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I read the book a few days before a job interview. The paradigm shift in the way I valued my abilities gave me the confidence to boldly ask for more money... Yes, I got the job offer and a pretty handsome bump in my salary... and all because I dared to Think Big.

One of the best books I read

I loved this book, from the beginning to the end. The author gives great advices for every day life, some might sound not new to hear, though I think are very practical and useful.
If someone is going through a difficult time, I would recommend to listen to this book. It helps to think clear, in a positive way, it seems gives some encouragement, everyone can succeed if wants to succeed. The book doesn't teach or preach some abstract concepts, it is actually about common sense and good habits.

LOVED IT!

This book is great. I listen to it repeatedly and the principles go deeper into subconscious each time. if you have issues with resistance and self sabotage, however, then it would be better to start with, or also get, something like Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza. I also REALLY like the narrator's voice and reading style a LOT.

Schwartz wasn’t thinking big when he wrote this book.

Aiming the book at men and nothing but men was quite small minded of Schwartz. Every sentence refers to males, no mention of female business owners or female CEOs, and mostly aimed at US citizens. Try thinking bigger next time

Best self help book bar far

I've read many self help books but this is by far the most useful and impactful I have come across. Many simple ways to improve your outlook and attitude which ultimately increase your chance of success in the short, medium and long term. I can immediately relate to how changing some of my attitudes and approaches to daily work and life in general will improve my outputs and general well being and, I believe, my long run goals and success. I may listen to this once again straight away, it's that good. Don't hesitate to listen to this book if you're interested in investing in yourself.

a great book to help you think big and this can help you

I enjoyed listening to this audio book, but this book gave me ideas for my sales and marketing business, kept me motivated, this book have brought me ideas to use for the future, I highly recommend listening to this voice as it very relaxing while I sleep, when I woke up still listening new ideas popped into my head. But I love listening to audio because while you listen , you can compare it to your own reality, buy the book and listen to the audio

A lot of content for little value

The book focuses on the power of having a positive mental attitude. Admittedly a very powerful tool! I think the book has some great points and tricks of how to use a Positive attitude to progress, however the book could quite easily been condensed into articles that you can readily find online.

My largest irritation is how most examples concentrate on men in the work place, this outdated referencing made me wonder how outdated some of the principles in the book are.

All in all, save your time and find a condensed version of the book or articles around the key themes.

I read the book a couple of years ago. Listening to the audible version has been amazing and so much more efficient.

If your a business executive like myself this is the best way to go.

Listen to this book now you need it.

Out of date by a century - many better books out there

This would have been useful at the same time as Fredrick Taylor was relevant. Lots of other books out there that will offer readers more depth and useful tools.

First few chapters OK. Rest similar to D Carnegie

The first few chapters are just OK, you feel a bit of pseudoscience. The second half is exceptionally similar to How to Win Friends & Influence People (Dale Carnegie). I guess depends on which book you come across first.

probably a good book on print format

there were too many lists being read. These broke the flow of the book making it difficult to listen to. but the content is good.
